My favourite Catfish Blues!

Corey befriended me in the summer of 90 when we were both busking on the street in Berkeley. He was between semesters at school (in Maine I think if I remember right). I was just a beginner and could barely play and he was obviously light years ahead of me. He taught me a bunch of stuff, not only songs but also his views on music which I have carried to this day.

Never thought I'd lay eyes on a living blues legend such as this guy. I love his sound.

First time listening to Corey but definitely not my last his singing seems to melt into his guitar playing, an amazing performance.

saw this man play live in ann arbor in 98 or 99; he played his guts out. amazing musician.
