4:51 - 5:15 Cate smiles faintly as she loses herself in thought after listening to Rooney's words about being in awe of her during the film. She was peacefully and quietly enjoying that idea so she became oblivious to the whole scene for a moment until someone called her name.

Yeah definitely! Body language seems tense and imo, Cate looks like she’s trying to deny or fight off any attraction or feelings she has for Rooney. That’s why she says when they talked it was “special, but formally special”. LOL she had to really add formally?? Lol suspicious for sure 🤔

Movie just made, they must promoted it, and when you talk about Hollywood Actresses and Actors, they so much made their inner life involved so deep with the character they played, and imagine this they must normalize their feeling to each other so fast, while in the movie they must being a lover, I think it's very hard, and because of that they were doing that things, keep laughing, keep staring, keep touching so that they can finish the feeling, so it won't be included in their real life ... I meant the way they acted to each other, had a beautiful words, loving gestures it was a part of healing, of finishing the feeling. You can see now in their new movie Nightmare Alley Cate Blanchett already healed from her feelings in the movie Carol with Rooney, I don't know bout Rooney but I think Rooney still, always be mesmerizing with Cate, eventhough the feeling as a lover isn't there anymore. I think what happen between Cate and Rooney happen with the most actresses and actors in Hollywood, when the feeling in the movie hasn't been finished your married with your real wife/husband will be crushed, or your real relationship will be ended, and you become so hard to make a differences between real life and in movies
