Harrison I'm so glad somebody with a platform like you is putting this out there because this guy is pulling a scam it's so obvious I've seen this video a couple weeks ago and it's so blatantly obvious that the guy is just using the excuse that he took them and left to cover himself but that kid should of checked them right in front of him...still people like this need to be put on blast so the sneaker community knows who he is and what he is trying to do to people

What he should've done is gone to the booth, asked to check the shoes, LEFT the shoes there while the checkcheck app is doing it's thing, and made a decision from there. Not defending the guy, cause it's people like him that give black and mixed heritage men (myself included) a bad name, but at the same time the kid did set himself up for it.

You're forgetting the main point, though, the guy is SELLING FAKES SHOES AS REAL ONES AT AN OFFICIAL SNEAKERS EVENT, that's the only thing that really matters in this particular case. Yes, the seller was dumb and that's why he lost his money. BUT, the main point to concentrate and work on NOW is the one I just mentioned above, period.

When a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. Bottom line. Scammers work off people thinking they’ve got a good deal you can’t find elsewhere. Also, do everything on the spot, never walk away and come back. He should be banned from all future SneakerCons. What a disgusting creature. Thanks for making this video, glad his face wasn’t blurred out, cos he deserves to be exposed. His reputation is worth $1000 😂

Obviously the seller is a scumbag but unfortunately hes right...once you leave the transaction is over. But like you said, buying something @ 50% market value is already a HUGE red flag...cant give anyone youndont know benefit of the doubt

I think the best way to avoid the scenario is have them legit checked before handing the money over/exchanging goods.

The real lesson should be don’t spend a $1000 on shoes.

They could easily bring fakes in at some point. The only thing they could do is make every pair of shoes go through verification before money changes hands. If the shoes get verified the buyer pays for the verification and if the shoe doesn’t verify than the buyer pays the cost of the verification.

I was trying to see both perspectives but his attitude when they came back and he was packing gave him away. Bro is a scammer.

This pissed me off so much, dude is a no life and needs to be banned

The one thing people really have to understand in the scenario is the legality of the situation. At the end of the day it’s got a hold up in court.

I’m still trying to understand why the buyer couldn’t check check the pairs if it legit takes 15 mins or less if you pay the highest check check fee, rather lose 50$ on check checks than 1k$

I wouldn’t have trusted a buyer leaving for an hour with the shoes and coming back to the booth for a refund

SneakerCon should ban him from all future events & with any luck word gets out to all similar sneaker event organisers & they ban him too! He’ll still do his shit on social media if people aren’t aware of him but if enough bad publicity gets out there about this scumbag then eventually it should affect the way he does business. Resellers should be offering a higher standard of customer service reselling items.

He can be reported for selling “counterfeit goods” for sure because if he’s selling fakes, the government should go after him and investigate his “other stores” and his “real shoes” and all the money and products can be definitely seized if all of his items are “authentic”.

I own two fakes just because I want to wear them but when you start selling them that’s an issue

Here an idea and its a risky one but why not have resellers put down a security deposit with the amount being 70-90% of the total cost of all the shoes they are selling(market value) and if things like this happen, the buyer can get their money back. Another thing is have a way for sellers to know if a shoe someone is legit checking is actually the shoe they’re selling, whether it be having a staff member escort the buyer to a legit checking booth or a sticker that they place on the box to indicate its their pair.

I have a feeling he will be in jail soon lol

the retail for the shoes was $110 so if you cant get them from nike directly i suggest you buy from either stockx or goat, they are a little bit more but thats because its resell price not retail, i believe the price for his size is $180 canadian on stockx and goat is going for around $215. i hope this helped you!

While I do agree the buyer probably did get scam, the buyer should have waited. I’d rather wait an hour than lose $1000, after he paid and left it was obvious he was going to deny it and turn it into a he said she said.

He clearly had other fakes. That’s why he packed it up before eBay got there.

ALL OF THIS MONEY BEING MADE AT THE EVENT. The event organizers need to walk the tables and *LEGIT check for the customers that are coming into the event. Yeah ok, some guy got in and setup some fakes.. you caught him. ok.. good job. You need to point the blame at the Gotsole or any of these "sneaker convention orgainzers to be AUTHENTICATING their vendors"

I heard that guy selling fakes actually suffered from a stroke so karma got him ❤
