I believe the two organs you called milt were actually nidamental glands, Masaru. Nidamental glands help build the mucosal case around their eggs. Given the size of those glands, and the ripe ova, I'd say she was just about ready to spawn.

イカは一回凍らせると美味しくなると、言われますよね!昆布締めは、素材に塩をして水分を抜いて、塩抜きをして旨味の通り道を作ってあげてから、昆布を当てるとびっくりするくらい、旨味が染みていきますよ😊
