vid doesn't work for me, will try again tomorrow. I have asked for these vids for xmas, seems very well thought out, filmed, directed etc. Martin is a true angler and Bernard Cribbins is a man who I watched on tv as a kid so it's great. I believe Chris Yates appears in one vid thus it is complete.

That's a centre-pin reel mate, what people used to use before fixed spool reels became popular. Lots of people still use em though cos they're supposed to be great for trotting a float down the current :-)
what is it called that type of coarse fishing you are doing? with the fly reel on a match rod?
