Catching Stocked Trout With Mini Marshmallows - Catch n' Cook - How To Catch Stocked Trout

Ойын-сауық

Today I show you how to catch stocked trout on mini marshmallows! Its a very effective, cheap, and easy way to catch trout from any stocked pond, lake, or river! I was fishing a small pond after a snowstorm and it didn't take long to catch a trout. I cleaned it, and cooked it right on the shore. One of the best fish i've had all year! Pro tip: empty bag of marshmallows into a 1 gallon freezer bag. Spray some bang garlic spray in there with them and a dash of gold or copper glitter. Shake bag up then hook up a marshmallow. They will last longer in the water if you freeze them first.

    I use am jet puffs. Leave them out for a couple days to firm up. Pair it up with a small worm floats off the bottom well. Large perch seem to like it too.

    I like to let my marshmallows sit out for a week so they harden up a bit. Stays on the hook much better.

    Love to eat the bait! In the old days before Power bait we fished with Velveeta cheese. Hardest thing was not puttin the bait on your baloney sandwich.

    If you hit the knife to the skin and scrape the most of the scales off the skin and then get the skin crispy the skin is really good. On blue gill I the tail fin when I cook them with flour mixture and butter the tails are crispy and tasty great I never tried it with trout though

    If your using marshmallows and power bait you better plan on keeping what you catch because they usually swallow it

  • @kyklain86
    @kyklain862 жыл бұрын

    Why I avoid bait fishing, they sometimes swallow the hooks. Leave the hook exposed at the tip and try to set the hook once they start biting to get the hook on the lip.

    Or bring hundred hooks and if the swallow the hook leave fish in water take pair of finger nail Clippers and cut the line closest to the hook as you can the hook rusts out

    I dislike bait fishing too. Its boring and a waste of time if you just sit there waiting for a bite. Spinners jigs crank baits etc are the go to. Also am I seeing things or was that second one a cutbow?
