Catching Psycho Cow | Broken Trailer | Repairs

Fen farming - / @fenfarming562
Trying to catch the nutcase cow, new fendt tractor still to arrive, injecting calfs, farming
My name is Crawford and I’m a farmer.
Being a farmer is more than a job; it’s a way of life. The good days can involve bringing new life onto the farm or sunny days outdoors whilst on others it's dealing with machinery breakdowns and on the worst days, sometimes animal deaths.
Farming can be isolating at times - away from the busy streets and city life - so this platform brings you closer to the inner workings showing the highs and lows and everything in between.
I hope to bring some context to how the food ends up on your plate, from your Sunday roasts to morning porridge and even the tulips on your kitchen table. Hopefully a bit of agricultural education along the way.
This video captures the latest goings on including crop management and our efforts to increase sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint.

Glad you you sent that cow straight for slaughter I used to do some droving in a big market so many times animals like that would turn up and it was obvious that they hadn't just got like it and were just being off loaded with no thought for the hauliers safety us at the market who if we said anything would be the one's blamed the farmers usually saying we had mistreated the animal in our hurry to get everything penned up seen several people get hurt myself included and have given it up

We had a Hereford cross bullock like that wild cow. When he was fit to go I warned the lorry driver collecting him that he was vicious. As I warned him the bullock let fly ,missed the driver but bent the spar in a heavy gate. When he arrived at the slaughter house the driver warned the staff to be careful who coolly answered "we've had worse than that in here". Next thing they were ringing for an ambulance,he had smashed one of the men's leg

That's what they get for not listening when someone gives them a warning. Do people think we try to warn about dangerous animals just for the fun of it? If I tell someone 'stay away from that rooster, he's got really large spurs and loves to test them on people', I'm not telling them to hear myself talk, I'm telling them because I'd rather NOT have to deal with another person throwing a fit and threatening lawsuits because Fabio tried to cut their leg off.

Good job getting rid of that crazy cow, someone would have ended up getting hurt for real if she was to stick around any longer.

Need to keep that meat in a locked freeze as I bet once she’s meat she’ll still try and escape. Crazy cooo. Not often we see you taking the quad bike off the trailer with use of the ramps. 😂

Don’t “chase” cattle Crawford, always “walk” them, spooked cattle are unpredictable and will get there heads up and aim for the easy exit option.
