kabuto mains: our time has cum...

yeah the lurk being a jutsu is such a godsend! im a long time kabuto mainer, and i love using lurk, its basically a teleport, and is great at closing the gap and sneaking up on opponents. as you mentioned it has been sped up (no more travel time with dust trail). since its a jutsu it can be canceled into from a combo and you can easily use it to scoop up opponents from otg. it also does insane damage (doing all three hits gets you way more dmg than chakra scalpel), second hit does big crumple stun and you can shield cancel out of it into a combo/jutsu/ult/grab, or just shield as a defensive maneuver! but you gotta be careful cuz sometimes i lurk right into an enemy combo or jutsu lmao. also you can cancel lurk with a counter but i sometimes counter by accident when i mash out the lurk combo and try to sheild cancel and end up pressing both buttons at the same time lol. but yeah kabuto is so much better now, and having sheild cancel on both his scalpel and lurk jutsu gives him alot of flexibility for opening up opponents and keeping yur booty safe. also it not being a tilt definitely makes using it to dodge under projectiles alot more reliable to do quickly. definitely the most fun kabuto's ever been in a storm game imo. Edit: turns out you don't even need to shield cancel to combo out of lurk, if you only do the first two hits of lurk (not the third kick) and mash the melee button, you will immediately start comboing them after the second hit!

I think the hiding tech is broken back then, now that it became a second jutsu it's very taxing to use but a nice utility since you can escape now without worry of miss tilting

Am I the only one who kinda misses supports having heath bars? Like whenever they get hit regular or with an ultimate they're unable to be used for a little while?

yeah supports got buffed like crazy in this game, also alot of supports got insane invinciblity and priority on support jutsu

@@helenhomunculus5044 honestly I feel connections is going to be the hardest game to be immersed in. Everything’s going too fast, you’re taking out the things that made the game rememberable like QTE’s, world travel, long cutscenes, cutscenes in general, and just giving a fast based combat game. I feel like if the game had longer animations or specifically pulled in aspects from its predecessors we wouldn’t complain too much. It would have memorable qualities with cool fighting dynamics. But what do I know

@@midnightryuu1328 I think this game is more on the level of Generations or Revolution but they marketed it like it was this big collection of every game in the series, that you could EXPERIENCE all the storm games... Yeah, trilogy is unfortunately still the best way to do that, so Connections feels like a dud in that way. However I really do enjoy MOST of the gameplay changes personally, just think that this shouldn't have been a full priced game

​@@midnightryuu1328yeah i understand, personally i really enjoy the changes because it makes the game alot more aggressively focused and alot more characters are viable and have more options with the system wide changes, but at the same time the changes along with buffed supports make many characters even more braindead and spammy as a result, so its definitely a bit of a double edged sword. it will be interesting to see if and what gets addressed with subsequent updates and patches. i think making the supports easier to hit and toning down the invincibility/priority of cutscene jutsus (rasengan/chidori) would be a good start, as those things definitely seem to be overcentralizing for the meta

Kabuto is my favorite character. I enjoy watching this.

I wish had costume when he was wearing the gloves and the head Band from the Naruto when he was a child

I love using Kabuto a lot too. His Taijutsu fighting combo style in this game is so unique and cool

​​@@Loxibeenthatnah I've played across platforms on every fighting game you can name. Tekken, street fighter, XenoVerse, etc. I can give you my PSN, gamertag and steam name. Xbox has so far been the hardest in all of the games I've played. Not as many players so they are all hardcore. You'd think it would be pc but no...those guys just there to mod.

Exactly this bullshit should have been dlc or something. A full price 60-70 dollar recycled game is just insane and people are actually supporting it. I understand from a youtube content creator view point its keeping some channels alive but at some point we as fans/customers need to draw a line.
