Catching my First Saugeye | Early Summer Trolling Tactics

Спорт

Today had air temps in the mid 90's with water temps between 69-71 degrees. Pitching and jigging to the fish was unsuccessful so I switched to trolling a Berkley Flicker Shad 5 and a Worden's Spin N Glo Bottom Walker with a Berkely Hammered Crawler harness behand it. Troll speeds were between 1.3-1.6MPH which is what the Saugeye wanted today. They were holding on bottom and slightly above bottom in 18 feet of water on what I would call and intermediate basin.
