CATCHING MONSTER SHOAL BASS || Kayak camping Ocmulgee River

J and Pat take a spontaneous trip to the Ocmulgee River looking for an elusive fish, the Shoal Bass. The Ocmulgee River has a treacherous stretch of fast-moving water that can swallow your gear if you are not careful. J and Pat quickly learn a lesson about fast-moving water and have been left with broken rods and crushed dreams. Help J and Pat reach their dream by liking and subscribing so they can become professional unprofessional fishermen.

We enjoy making the videos just as much as we enjoy fishing. Shoal bass are definitely one of my favorite species to fish for after going on this trip. Thank you for coming along the ride!

Other than the spill of equipment it looked like a great trip. Sucks losing things but you've got to put yourself out there to experience the good in life.

It was definitely a fun experience. We learned the power of fast moving water and didn’t get hurt!

@@Ben_Dare hey man. We put in at Jackson lake dam and flipped right before wise creek. I’d recommend getting out at Marjorie popper. You will miss all the really bad shoals after that. We recently went and the fish ate mostly Ned rigs. I saw a few other guys fishing black trick worms.
