a double flathead day is a damn good day no matter the size! Looked fun man!

Really enjoying these vids and especially the podcast while late night fishing. Super entertaining stuff. I ordered a big cat fever rod and a new kayak to get out there in the hard to reach spots. Your vids inspired me to be more adventurous and I can’t wait to do get out there and make some memories.

Well one I thing I learned, there is a reason your fishing trips are much more successful than your turkey hunts!!😂😂 I’ve never seen a turkey run so fast the other direction 😂😂💪👊

All that concrete laying there is quite the beautiful nature picture you can share with your grandkids. " OK boys, the town Supervisor said we could dump all that concrete right here in this here river, and I only had to give him $300". What a deal. Everyones happy.

Man made structure always holds more fish than natural and concrete rubble forms them lion dens for big cats to live their whole lives.I realy enjoyed this one Spencer.

Talking about River depths being low, I was in Ames this past weekend, and the South Skunk was completely dry. And the Iowa River east of Marshalltown was close to being dry as well.

Like I say my Son would Love to fish where you at! He can even catch, clean, and filet his own fish! I taught him how!

Back in the 1970's and 1980's when I was 25-35 years old, me and 3 buddies used to noodle or grapple (catching catfish with are hands) We fished old washed out boat ramps, we caught a lot of 30-55 lbs. Flatheads, we did this on Lake Eufaula, in Oklahoma, some great memories

Low water here too. Drainage ditch that runs thru my farm is dry. The Rock River here and the Mississippi is low also. The Rock is so low you can walk across it in spots, fishing is tough here too.

Shad balls thats a pretty good idea there. Good vid man.

Try big flathead that are there are eating those drum. Caught my second biggest flatty and several 50s on drum. They love em. Caught a couple 50s last night 😅. Great vid. We fish alot of rock. Keep your powder dry and your pantry stocked young man 💪😎

Very nice fish, coulda lived without the Turtle but it was a big one. A successful evening of fishing to be sure and those are the best of times.

Great video. Several other channels were mentioning that something was happening to U-Tubers, but no one took the time to explain it. Maybe they don' t want to create any negative wish fulfillment. I had a amazing day at Scott Street dam 7 nice walleyes and a half dozen wipers all over 4 lbs I know there's bigger ones but it was really epic if you stop in the dm I live two blocks from the dm river and I have a couple flat head holes I would love to show you.tight lines and have a good one.

That was a good size leatherback to keep they are good eating you need to try it.

Im watching from the beach with cut baits on bottom. Hope you are doing ok teach!

It's crazy how fishing works, you and your friends go and not even be 3 ft apart and ones reeling in left and right and you can feel lucky by getting a little nibble, crazy how it works. Will blues and channels keep eating throughout the lower temperatures or does all the fish just cut back on the bites when it gets cold?

Cody wilson,In Ohio you can catch Blues and channels all winter long. Their still eating it's just a real slow bite. If you can find them on your fish.finder,put your bait right in their face. I do better on cut bait cut in the winter. I mostly use shad or skip jack. Hope this helps you out Good Luck.
