In 2016 my grandfather was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer and fought it for 3 years before he passed away in the hospital while I was on vacation... I never got to say goodbye I never got to be with him in his final minutes and I couldn’t tell him that I loved him and that it was okay that he rests peacefully... Today is the aniversery of his death... 😭 --------------------- Edit: To all those who’ve sent comments with supportive words, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Make sure to let the ones close to you how much they mean to you cause life is to short to waste a second ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I'm sorry for your loss...I'm sure he knows how much u love him ...he's watching over u ....I'm sure he sends u signs ...that hes there with u.. my only brother my only sibling passed away in 2016 at the age of 36 in his sleep from a heart condition that he didn't know he had..every time I think about him or I feel depressed..I always find white feathers it could be in my house it could be on my car it could be in my driveway I will find white feathers randomly and it's a sign that your loved one is watching you from heaven or it's your guardian angel so watch for a white feathers💜

Human -NPC that same God that you think doesn’t exist is that same God that knows the character of a human being. Everyone have their own opinion on things and so I’m not gonna force my religion on you. But I do want to say that God was clearly right about what people would say before they even said it. He said that many people would deny his name and believe that he doesn’t exist. I’m starting to see that you’re one of them so God was right all this while.

My cousin passed from metastatic colon cancer two years ago. I miss her each day. Rest in Power Chadwick Boseman

Important note. If your family member (like a parent) was diagnosed at a certain age, you should subtract that to 10 and get your self checked when your age comes to that point. My dad is a colon cancer survivor and he was one of the youngest the time he was diagnosed, 29 yrs old. He went for a check up when he saw his stool has blood (no painful symptoms). Glad he didn't hesitate going to the doctor. Fast forward, i got blood on my stool (no painful symptoms) when i was 19 yrs old. The doctor said that if your parent who is a colon cancer survivor, you should subtract 10 on the age of when they were diagnosed. So my dad was 29 and i had my symptoms at 19. Good thing mine was just a harmless polyp but if it was ignored, it could mutate and become cancerous. Now i'm 25 and have undergone 3 colonoscopy with 1 polypectomy (polyp removal). Btw, our family doesn't eat much meat because of my dad, so it really boils down to genetics. Colon and pancreatic cancer is a silent killer. You'll have "noticeable/painful" symptoms only when you're in the late stage.

I knew a guy who had pancreatic cancer do bad that at diagnosis he was told he had less than 6months to live 100%. They tried everything they could but he died in two weeks, TWO WEEKS. That still shocks me today.

@@availanila we also had a client who had pancreatic cancer, she was so young healthy. Every time she visits our branch, she has this vibrant aura. But last april she was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, after that her body just started to lose, few months later she died. We were all shocked. Even my manager cried when she heard the news. Stay healthy people and if you can, try to have an annual executive check up, especially you know your family has some serious medical history.

@@sassycat6487 That i don't know. But my OB tells me that when a girl becomes a "woman" (getting a period), you should start going to a specialist for regular check ups. Like once a year if you don't have any problems, just a regular check up.

This story sadden me less bc of who he was but bc I'm fighting stage 3 colon cancer now. I was only 37 when diagnosed, which as stated in this video, was a huge surprise to my doctors. In a matter of 6 short months, my life has changed tremendously. The night the news of his death came out, I had major anxiety and depression bc all I could think was if this was going to be my outcome. I'm praying for his family, I'm praying for anyone that may be in my shoes now.

Afew days before his death My moms friend got colon cancer. That's scary. Any type of cancer

My grandma died from colon cancer in october. she was feeling pain in her body but she didnt think much of it. a few days later she died in the hospital while in a coma.

It has nothing to do with detection. I would love to get checked, but with no insurance, it's not gonna matter what I want.

My sister died of this at age 32. Horrifying disease.

I worked for a urologist and we screened for colon cancer. And we did get a lot of positive results but it was really early on so they were able to get their cancer treated with some medication before it got worse. Men, I know it sucks. But trust me take care of yourself now and get yourself checked early before it’s too late. Don’t wait till you’re 50 and if you have it in your family then you should be checked way earlier.

My uncle died from Colon cancer last week... he didn't ever get diagnosed til it was too late. He was only 54 yrs old..

Very sad and shocking , did Chadwick avoid treatment which caused his death, i have Ulcerative colitis and I know the colon can be removed if it’s really bad but I’m not so sure if can be removed when you have colon cancer .

Question what if after wiping so much you start seeing blood on the toilet paper? I started using wipes so I don't really see blood anymore. I do wipe pretty hard and deep to get everything clean but I'm not sure if that's the cause

Go see your doctor about it. Even wiping shouldn’t be causing bleeding. Be candid about it. He or she can do an exam to check.

My friend is in the hospital idk for what reasons but I think she might have some form of cancer she is always late to zoom meetings and she always wears a hat to cover up her head I hope she is ok

I was diagnosed with diverticulitis 2 years ago it's not cancer but it's in the same area as the colon luckily didnt need surgery was hooked on antibiotics for 4days and medicines for about 2months, just gota eat lot of fiber, exercise and no more beer

Cancer, is in your dna. It is caused by pollution, UV radiation, environmental factors, genetic defects, skin type, radioactive materials and asbestos, and also certain jobs that include the following things. Other animals get cancer too. Let’s say your mom has cancer, that gene will be passed on to you. Maybe she was exposed to chemicals or radiation. Skin cancer is mostly caused by the sun or tanning beds. Skin cancer mostly happens to people with low melanin. Another way you can get cancer is chemical foods, like processed foods, junk food, hormone growth meat and crops. Lung cancer is caused by breathing in pollution or smoking. You can get cancer anywhere just depends on where it starts. The cancer cell will copy your healthy cells and it would build up into tumors, so it can happen anywhere. This sounds insane but you can also get teeth cancer.

I've had blood in my stool and always have a hard time using the bathroom I have to drink Metamucil just to help me out. I now have to test every year because my test had come back benign.
