Lol aw man almost in the cooler. Hard to beat having a fresh caught lunch on the water. I was fer sure them chickens were gonna mess those up too but nope.

The slime on a catfish is also supposed to be an antidote for the venom in a catfish barb. Just rub the wound on the skin of the fish.

Hey Vinnie , have you heard about when you get finned by a freshwater catfish you rub the belly of the catfish on the spot and let it dry . For me this keeps the puncture from becoming sore .

Nice vinnie here in TN when them cranes are nesting and you get to close to em they sound like a bunch of monkeys a hollering I don't know what that was you had treed tho

Vinny, try stew meat. Aint gonna say its the best but it's always readily availabe. We used it for years down there and caught some beautiful fish
