Catching Big Redfin (Perch) In Green Snot

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Would you eat a fish out of this horrible green snot water? These big redfin didn't seem to mind the water quality, the fishing was quite good.

Hey You, I’m really loving ya work mate,so please don’t ever give up on us because someone keyboard warrior is or has given ya a hard time ❤️❤️🙏🙏 . Now let me tell my little yarn about the one that got away,my young bloke Rob and his mate Tim with a tribe of babies go chasing Cod . (Wellington NSW)He (Rob) is using chicken necks and has been for decades looking for the meter plus trophy fish . Bang he’s ON and bugga me here it is 👏👏👏👏👏and the beauty of it is his mate Tim used to fish down the coast south of Jervis Bay ,so has the over sized landing net ,he’s Robbie’s young fella Billy (14)doesn’t need any instructions, grabs the big landing net and is on the case instantly (what could possibly go wrong) . To Robbie’s credit he didn’t loose the plot but too say he’s a little disappointed to lose the meter plus cod would probably be a little understated. You would think he’s mates and farther would console him and in no way pull the piss , but HEY this is Australia and me and Tim have been fishing and using the same bait every day since. It’s not our fault he has all those kids and has to work all the time 😂😂😂😂😂👁️👁️😎😇🐕‍🦺❤️🙏🦘🐨🇦🇺P.s. Robbie is a monster, what do you think the chances are that if one of us actually manages to get the trophy that we tell the big bugga. Tim reckons he’ll steak it up and give him a few feeds before telling him, I’m calling bullshit, it’ll be one of those never to be told fishing secrets. I know he’s really an over sized big friendly bugga, but just how much can a koala bear. 👁️👁️😎😇🐕‍🦺❤️🙏🦘🐨🇦🇺

I imagine chemistry is the same on either side of the big pond. Here water with algae is higher in nitrates and there is a correlation between volume of algae and nitrate level. More algae, more nitrates. I theorize that farming or livestock nearby raises the nitrates. Fertilizer from farming, dung from livestock. Both contain high levels of nitrates so any surface run off that makes it into the water will raise the nitrate level of the water. I'm not a chemist, I'm a very old farm boy with strong powers of observation who loves to fish. Good show today Robbie.
