Great fishing Dan and it was also nice that you spare the time to chat to the lady passer by (says so much about your upbringing) rather than just a grunt like some people will give. We're always in the public eye so to speak when we're fishing, so it goes a long way if we're good ambassadeurs to the sport.

Absolutely fantastic video, with some stunning captures. Just started lure fishing myself, and just ordered some LMAB fineness Craws in 7cm. Your video has been very helpful in the ways to hook these lures up for use.

That's one of those sessions when your "last cast" can get you in trouble! An hour later your still fishing and the Mrs is usually rather angry! Nice chunky perch, I must have a go at perch fishing I've never really fished for them on purpose i tend to get sidetracked with pike fishing but this would be a good time òf year to start with all the pin fry hatching at the moment.

I like the little rascals, and the thick ones are awesome, unfortunately I rarely get them to the line!! Nice vid Dan!!

Not much started driving trucks so evening sessions out of the window but ive bought a 3m rib n outboard so going to be getting some boat sessions in starting tomorrow

Caught my first yellow perch today. Ended up catching 3. All caught on a mini xrap. Great video. Will have to try using some mini craws I have.

Nice session 👍, don’t know if you’ve seen them but Westin do a net like yours but it extends. I’ve found it very handy for those drop off sections. Cracking perch for the canal💥

@@pikeandperch I've seen thousands off baitfish everywhere lately still struggling to catch when I fish around them . The heats been ridiculous over here the past couple weeks though and not a cloud in the sky

Been working on flies for bigger Perch, but haven't succeed yet. 😒 Seems I've only managed to hit jacks on them😁 . Lost two nice big perch recently while carp fishing, one that even took a baitrunner set to 2lb in latest vid, looked around 3lb, but sun glare ruined the vid...

People are doing it in East anglia. People I know bump up their fly tackle a weight or two just to minimize fighinting time.

@@pikeandperch aaah thanks. I only took up piking in the autumn last year. And that’s down to you, the ginger fisherman and snagged bro. And i LOVED it. Bought an Abu Garcia black max combo. Took me a while to get used to the reel. Would get up early doors and just walk the canal till it got dark about 4pm. REALLY want a decent perch

I do love your videos but I do wish you would return fish in a less aggressive way.. they have just exhausted them selfs fighting against you you have them out the water for not a lot of time which is great but then throw them back i would love to see you release them in a recovery manner.. other than that keep doing what you’re doing dude love it
