Catching Bass On Sam Rayburn During The Summer

I had an amazing day on Sam Rayburn back in July!
On this trip I'm fishing the lower end of the lake. I launched at mill creek and I fished from around mill creek to buck bay in this video.
Majority of the bass i caught came offshore. It was one of the better days that I've had during the summer and this video is a perfect example of what you can catch on the south east end of the lake when it's on.
Typically you don't get mega bags down on this end but it's not impossible. The best summer day I've ever had in this area was on frogs one summer.
My best three baits was two different Texas rigged worms. I was throwing a 10.5" and a 7" worm. My last main bait was an MR-12 crank bait. My gosh they were eating that sucker up! Only regret I have on this day is i didn't throw it longer than I did.

I saw you on Southwest Fishing. Y’all caught the redfish! Do you enter the Texas Star Tournament? Sam Rayburn fall tournament?

@@donalddavis5598 that’s awesome! We filmed that about 3 weeks ago. I haven’t got a chance to watch it yet but definitely will! I didn’t enter star this summer since I didn’t have much free time but I’ll be fishing the BBS next month! I’m ready for that one!

It was 🔥🔥🔥 I went there Labor Day and they were gone. Maybe they’ll show back up when the water comes up.

Great video. I fished several of those 100 plus degree days and caught a bunch but I did work up a sweat.

I was so blessed to have it! It definitely made the day nice. I’m glad those 100 degree days are done for this year.
Man, this weekend was rough. The 1st place for my tourney was only 12-6 and we only weighed in 1 for 1-8 and still got 33rd

Wow that’s rough! Ouch! I went Labor Day and it was a little tough
