Yesterday at the tackle store, I was checking this guy out putting his stuff in the bag and he asked me if I wanted two rods that he was tired of having in his truck, he handed me a 7’2 medium spinning rod. And a 7’6 heavy casting rod. The two rods sizes I was about to buy, so I’m excited to throw really big baits and small ones. Especially when we throw a big walking bait on Norris at night

We normally won’t see an inch of rain here in my part of Texas for the entire summer. After May our rain shuts off. I’m a pecan farmer and it’s tough to get a good crop. We were lucky we got good May rains to fill up the ponds before summer set in. My pond is already 2’ low. #walkthedog
