When you opened with "the goal is to get a 4 pounder", I knew where you were headed. There are some very nice fish in there...I didn't catch a 4 pounder either. LOL

More to come!
Hiking up to lakes to fish is always the best, very rewarding!
Oh baby!!! Beautiful fish!! Lake isn’t hard on the eyes either!!! Worth the hike for sure!! Appreciate the extra effort!!!!👍
Wow! The fins on brookie #4 were big and pretty! Those tigers were awesome too. Another outstanding BNT production!
you got me inspired to get into fly fishing, just picked up a little starter kit and a 5/6wt rod. just watching has helped me with just starting. Appreciate it!
You have got to be one of the fittest fishermen on KZread - we get tired just watching your hike
You did really well playing those fish in the lumber at lake 1. Nice brookies. Those tigers are always beautiful in the other spot.
It's definitely another exciting video !
Was up on your mountain yesterday and caught a few. Google showed one lake only a quarter of mile from the one I was fishing. Problem was it was a quarter of a mile straight down a mountain. At almost 80 years old I thought better of it. Just decided to finish hiking around the lake I was fishing.😊

Beautiful mountain lakes and gorgeous trout - who could ask for more? Thank you for sharing your adventure with us all!
I haven’t been to this exact spot yet but I know that area is FULL of huge trout! Some of the most beautiful lakes up there! Loved the video man!!
Its rare to get a photo /video do justice to a view like that awesome 👌
That trout looked amazing. I can’t believe you didn’t eat the skin!

Glad you enjoyed it!
That was an absolutely beautiful spot love the color of the water and some absolutely awesome fishing definitely have to try some of your flies
This is awesome! 👍🏻 😊
Fish whisperer strikes again really beautiful lake ,, great job. My experience fish definitely tastes better if u bleed them out right away,,
Love your adventures
So that long hike was worthwhile... These tiger trout are sometimes very aggressive as fry in the hatchery. It is not uncommon that they attack the eyes of other fry and eat the eyes! It sometimes happens with brown trout fry too.
The beard looks decent!
Amazing fishing
I love your videos nice to see more of them

Tigers are my favorite. Love their pattern.
After those one eyed monsters out there I see!!!😂
Love that lake produces huge brookies. caught my pb brook right over 5 pounds in that lake. Got him on the wall too
We only caught one brook trout when we hiked into your upper lake. Maybe another time I will go back. so many lakes to explore.
As someone who is blind in one eye , two half blind fish back to back would have been some kind of sign for sure lol.. I got two fly fishing poles on the way and you inspired me to try it so wish me luck when they get here and thanks for always making awesome content!
Another kick azz video.
Epic!
Wow! Not a whole lot of places with brook trout like that. Keep that one under your hat.
Thanks for showing other fishermen how to release safely for the fish! Tight lines my friend.

Reminds me of the 70's hiking up to Spider Lake in Desolation wilderness among others in the Sierra. Nothing like waking up next to the Carmel River in Ventana wilderness/Big Sur and catching naturals ( 12-14" ) for breakfast with no one around but us. As my Idol John Denver said " Talk to God and listen to the casual reply " ( Rocky Mountain High ). Peace.
man your videos are what i aspire to make haha 😅 nothing beats a good trout on the fly
That looks like a beautiful area!
I need to catch myself some big wild trout
second one to comment/watch
If that's where I think it is, I'm going up there in about a week. It's only been stocked with brookies twice in the last 10 years.

LOL I used to walk up hill in a snow storm 3 miles to go to school, you young wipper snappers are spoiled and out of shape. LOL Looks like a forest fire went through there a few years ago. Looks like a great place to camp for a few nights.

You should open up the gut of the fish to see what they are eating and compare the flies you could use ?????
