We are on an adventure again foraging the shoreline in Springtide for chip chip as it is locally known or wedge clam. coquina clam. The work is plentiful but the rewards are fulfilling we showcase how we catch, clean and cook this clam in curry with coconut milk and eaten with some sadda roti.

    I remember digging chip chip ..from icacos to colombus my fsther used to drive yhe tractor along to beach coming home with a good few pigtail buckets..memories...❤❤❤

    I found this video to be very entertaining and informative...i came across this video ramdomly,i really enjoyed seeing the ocean and chip chip...i remember as a kid growing up in Trinidad, spending my summer at the beach house in Mayaro,lots of chip chip being caught,buckets,upon buckets,they used to be larger some if them,was my favorite thing to do with my family. You can really cook a nice sada roti .

    Memories, last time I saw chip chip was the late 70s in Manzinilla before people over harvested it. Hopefully this area doesn't experience the same. Nice educational vlog on the shoreline and history from the photos 📸. We need to get advice on coastal erosion from the Dutch to try to protect our coastal area. Food looks boss 😋 I cannot recall how chip chip taste 😢. Keep up the good work 👏

    Hi I really enjoy seeing the video it’s amazing I’m from Barataria and I remember my dad and uncles used to go up manzanilla and get chip chip and would come back and do just the same and would cook it with Roti also to you and your family enjoy your weekend bye.
