    Hi Joe, Great video. Could see you struggling with glare from the sun, something I struggle with as well. Could I suggest you get a pair of prescription polarised glasses, I've just done this after 40 years and I can only say I wish I'd done it sooner. No more holding your hand up to stop the sunlight, no more squinting and no more headaches, they really do make a massive difference.

    Nice one Joe, really enjoyed this. Meat fishing is one of my favourite methods on the pole. Do you ever colour or dust your meat with haze or groundbait? 👍 Tight Lines 🐟

    I generally use the response XS 4m which is awesome. But I put it in my ready rod bag a while ago and had to use a 2.5m monster x a few months ago and actually love it 🤣

    Hi Joe really enjoy all your videos you explain what you are trying to achieve really well. I fish a large deep lake for really big roach on the feeder could you please suggest a suitable hair rigging hook as light as possible and preferably microbarb or barbless from the preston range please.     I would use a KKH for roach in an 18. A few of our specimen lads use them

    In another few weeks definitely. At the moment feeding minimal with meat is the way to go

    Joe I'am rubbish at tying hooklengths is it possible to cut the band off or the hair rig on the banded 4" hooklengths sorry if it's a daft question

    Yes for sure. I would take more care washing the meat though as it would take an age to sink

    Class again Joe, meat seems to be not as widely used as it used to be. What depth did you target Joe and I take it both swims were the same. Another ask I know it's too early what would make you try meat shallow and how would you do it. Maybe a summer meat video? Thanks for another great video star man

    Joe are Preston Innovations doing 4" hooklengths without the band,hairstops or spikes seen Matty Dawes video and he said he was using a 4" hooklength without the above

    I think corn is a brill winter bait but I have little faith with it ever! I tend to think meat is at its best at either side of the summer. so march to may and September to November

    I've never washed my meat ever and it pisses me off when anglers turn up with 10 tins of meat then spoil it for the rest of us as they ban it. A 2 tin limit would be perfect but more and more are just outright banning it because of knob heads.

    I've always wondered what was that ridiculously long rod was used for. Thanks for letting me know. The fancy fishing guy which always comes next to my fish spot always bring all the gadgets and fails to catch more fish than me :D He asks me "whats the secret" I said - white bread and bulgarian sausage (or spam)
