Fall is time to catch and keep small lake trout at Flaming Gorge. In this episode, we join Wyoming Game and Fish to find out how to catch those laker "pups." It's important that anglers do their part to reduce the small lake trout population to help sustain the world-class fishery at the Gorge. We also tell you about the 2021 Pupulation Control tagged fish contest, where you can win awesome cash and prizes.

Out of state commenter here. Love the videos, wish my state had the same program with updates and input. If you encourage ppl to catch and keep these fish, is there a way to book a state agency 'charter' per say? (More of an education on a boat). I'm thinking resident only as I don't live there but to boost the management side of take vs release. Some smoked trout dip while you wait could go a long way.
