Quick tip i learned when i was a little kid about cooking trout, if you cook it with the head on when its done you can grab the head peeling back to the tail removing pretty much all bones no joke, works everytime

Dalton Stetz obviously you would still gut it. In my family we would put butter, seasoning, garlic basically anything you like inside the fish. After its cooked grab the head and pull back holding the meat of the fish boom! All your left with is the meat, pulling on the head will take the whole spine out all the way to the tail

pistash 808-916 that works. With bit bigger trout its hard fitting them in a frying pan though. I usually cut off the head and bottom fins with loose bones around it. Once cooked I press the fork where meat starts by the tail and pull the fish up on the tail holding down the fork. Meat on that side of the trout slides right off if cooked right. Flip trout do same on other side and get all the meat with 0 bones. If fish not cooked enough meat will stick to the bones and if overcooked bones will get soft and mesh with the meat. Good way to test as you cooking not to over or under cook it.

@@pinstash It works. I have tried it when I was a child as well when I was fishing in Colorado and Wyoming for trout. It's nice and simple. Don't have to deal with bones.

Crayfishing is so fun catching em with ur hands I usually stay up to 1 in the morning when they are most active .I usually get a five gallon pale full

I love going to that river, always a fun time i Normally walk down the greenbelt and stop at spots along the bank, under the bridges have been really productive for crawfish lately

2 descent size bow's and a little dinker...and some cray fish, nice day on the river with your pop's good times...

little tip 4 u, if you take the Crawdad/Crawfish by the CENTER fin on it's tail, rock it left and right a few times then twist and pull, the poop sack will pull out with that CENTER fin. It takes some practice, but you'll get it.

Honestly I started fishing more rivers and lakes this year and I have to say I enjoy it more than some ponds. Largemouth is fun and all but I like to target the other species. I caught a real tiny fallfish, a beautiful rock bass and a real pretty pumpkin seed I caught in the brook. Looking to target some new species hopefully. The most fun is the adventure of new spots. Fishing the same ones gets old

Hello from Sweden! I've been following you for a while but I hadn't subscribed until today. Great videos! Anyways, something I learned the hard way while working at an elderly care centre was that salmonids (salmon, rainbow, sea trout and the such) do cook better at a lower temperature, and they won't get as dry because the fat won't just burn away but melt on the meat instead. Try it with some squeezed lemon juice while still on the pan and just a sprinkle of black pepper, and let us know what you think! Cheers, and keep up the good work!

hey man just a tip, when i fish rapalas i chang the hooks on it for single hooks so it wont hurt the fish when i catch and release
