Hi Sir, can you please guide me 1. Do we place 2 settlements and 2 roads wherever we want when we start the game without rolling dice or is it just 1 settlement n 1 road ?. 2. Initially,we get resource cards depending on the hex of 2 settlements or 1 settlement ? 3. Once we roll dice and get 7, after placing it on a number which has settlement or city which stops other players from getting resources when the respective number is rolled, when or how do we keep it back to the desert after discarding half of the cards and taking the card from another player? 4. Though a city can help to get more resources, wouldn't we lose victory points if we remove one settlement to place a city? Eg: there were 2 settlements and 1 city, now to place one city more I'll have to remove 1 settlement, so victory points be now 1 for settlement, 4 for 2 cities. 5 points in total instead of 6 points

1. According to international rules you are absolutely right. The game starts after placing 2 settlements and 2 roads. The last person to establish the 1st settlement will establish the 2nd settlement first. 2. If you have 2 settlements around a hex. You will take 2 resources. 3 settlement 3 recourses 3. Didn't get your point. 4. You remove a settlement or village. You lose one point. You build a city. You get to. Example: You have 2 Village means you have 2 points. You have a village and upgraded the other village to a city. You got 1 for 1 Village and 2 for 1 city. 3 points in total.
