Royal La Romana is adult only with 173 fabulous rooms including swim out rooms and a 2 level duplex with private pool.
The family friendly side is called Catalonia Gran Dominicus with 377 rooms. A unique room for Families is the Privilege Family Room that sleeps 6, so that could be mom, dad and 4 kids.
I was pleasantly surprised at how much I was impressed with this resort. The beach is stunning La Romana fine icing sugar sand, and crystal blue calm sea.
Swimming is great for kids as no high waves, and you can walk along the beach for over a mile.
The on site wedding planner is so passionate about this resort and their wonderful weddings.
If you have stayed in Punta Cana and want to give La Romana a try for your next getaway, you will not be disappointed.
It's a 45 minutes drive from the Punta Cana Airport and so worth the drive!

We have been to the Catalonia Royal Tulum in Riveria Maya Mexico, and the food was nothing short of outstanding.
