Feral was brought to paragon world first because their bleeds were bugged and ticking for like 300k. Not because feral dps was good. They were exploiting a bug.

When it comes to Frost DK... it's nice having the mount speed buff for questing/leveling... currently I'm Blood MS Frost OS.... Maybe I'll change the dps spec one day, but not until I've done all the open world stuff I want to do.

Been a Hunter since forever and I agree that survival will be at the top, I do not know if it will be an absolute S tier but definitely A or S. I am still leveling at the moment but it's already looking good out here.

Sub rogue at the end with legendaries is top dps over everything by a mile

No, and also that was moreso playing with both that tier set together with the firelands one. From memory all casters with the legendary were still untouchable tho

Played hunter main during Cata. MM was very strong at the start but kept getting nerfed so by 4.3 survival was better. Since we are playing Cata classic on 4.3.4 survival should be better than MM for the entire expansion.

Hunter is really fun in cata. I’m leveling with BM then swapping to survival later once I start doing end game content. I’m definitely going to try out MM in pvp once I start running some bg’s

my over 15 years of wow have taught me one thing. No class is bad only bad players. ive seen dps that shouldnt be up there being top dp anf destroying all others. SO i dont really take anything from anyones videos as actually factual. Like you said opinion.

i agree ive played since 2005 and ive seen every classs have their moment. (in all honesty i did change classes every couple months.) the grass is always greener over the septic tank,,,

how would ele shamans do with the legendary staff is the question, because technically, they can infact use it

Just did first dungeon with Destro, and this list seems to be panning out as totally accurate! RIP destro locks.

I think sub (with daggers, possibly just BIS for each raid tier) will be top rogue spec...if...the rogue knows what they're doing. The trouble is most rogues will struggle with sub making the others a far better choice.

the issue is that sub has absolutely zero cleave or aoe. So sub will be good to have as your offspec for the few single target fights then for the rest you'll want to be assass

Agreed, assassination rogue is easily S tier, the rotation is easy but rewarding to minmax

Feral Druid dots were bugged in the first little bit of og cata. Iirc, they did like 100% more damage than they should have, so keep that in mind.

Crazy dragon soul heroic back in cata i was top dps every week as an enh shaman

Can you release a survival hunter guide by chance? I need some pointers on rotation, talents, pet to use/not use, etc. I think I was doing something wrong, my dps was not good on my first revisit back, so I need a refresher and no one has an updated one out yet.

It's all about priority of shot In single targrt Kill Shot Explosive Shot Black Arrow Serpent Sting Steady shot for now but use Cobra Shot when you get it to gain Focus may have to use it 2x in a row

marksman wroks nice with set bonus, and careful some classes scale with raid buffs much more then others so dummy isnt rly relevant, also on beta right now most of doths and haste modificers doesnt work corectly

You mean boss kill phases? Your dps goes up since you got kill shot.

From what i remember Arcane is much better than fire at the start, fire needs a lot of crit, none tops an Arcane mage in the opening.

Dps is all about playing efficiently and uptime I don’t think class really matters unless you wanna be the top 1%

The classes are tiered presuming they're played correctly. If you wanna be top 1%, then be either extremely good in one of the competitive specs, or extremely meme and play a class that no one does.

@@lahihoitaja I hear this argument a lot, but there is genuinely no class in the game even in wrath/tbc that is simple as pressing a few buttons and consumes. There is nuance to every class even if their rotation is simple. Getting the cadence of a fight down to optimize your output takes skill no matter what class you play.

MM hunters were a lot better in original Cata but we won't see it because we on the last patch

Feral was bugged on beta until just recently. Their weapon damage was not normalized. That's why they were so strong on target dummies on beta. They're definitely not A tier dps.

Disagree with Combat Rogue placement. The amount of cleave they provide is top tier in many encounters while not falling too far short against Assassination and its the simplest of the 3 specs to play as well while scaling incredibly with gear. Some encounters even prefer Combat over Assassination

"demo is just better than affliction, affliction A tier" "why would you play destro if demo is just better?" destruction C tier" makes sense

That's just not true? Classic, TBC AND WotLK turned out pretty much just like the PS tier lists said lol. The tier lists made by people who actually knew what they were doing, and not the ones who made lists based on their own memory from how it was back in the day, were correct in 99% of cases. The only things they got wrong were the classes where the PS scripting itself happened to be wrong, with UH DK and Feral in WotLK being the obvious examples, or the classes that Blizzard themself stepped in and nerfed/buffed.

Blizz should feel ashamed of themselves for this ret rebuild. I still feel the pain of losing Wrath Ret 14 years later

You put almost every class/spec in S or A tier. Makes the list kinda pointless. Edit: (PvP ranking) based on top 3v3 Arena comps: Subtlety Rogue, Marksmanship Hunter, Restoration Shaman and Discipline Priest are S tier. Feral Druid, Affliction Warlock and Unholy Death Knight are A tier.

Really wish people would stop making these tier lists. They just ruin the game for people because this nonsense becomes scripture. I love how fury war feels. I love how tank war plays. I want to play those specs because I’ve always hated Arms and will always hate wielding a 2hander. (SMF fury all the way). Will I be able to get into a group like this? Hell no because people will only follow the meta and think the meta is the only way to succeed

arcane will be really good first tier for a while. But fire will take over as gear accumulates, even on single target. I do think arcane will still have a niche to keep as OS for a few phase fights where having the on-demand burst is nice, and the dps in that window matters more than your overall dmg for the fight

All these teir list SHITTING ON PROT WARR LIKE THEY DID IN WRATH Lol but was able to do all of icc 12/12H As Prot Warrior and played it well yes it felt weaker when you made a mistake also I guess sometimes you would randomly fall over but a skilled player on prot warrior was more then capable I played MT through ICC on Prot Warr/Prot Pal/Blood Dk and Bear (im a tank junky) but regardless I think prot warrior will be fine its not gunna be nearly as good as DK or Bear for first 2 teirs im sure but once they get full CTC they will be more then fine, there is plenty of videos from 13yrs ago of Prot Warrs tanking all the Heroic 25m bosses in cata I think the issue with prot warrior is has a high skill cap and its better for your average player to play somthing way easier because they will do just as good as a good prot warr but a skilled player I think should be fine

There's always someone with a post like this on any tier list video. Just because something isn't S-tier doesn't mean the person is saying you CANT play that or that it's impossible to clear content with that spec, it just means it's harder and less efficient/etc.
