When I first got my cat and she did this I assumed it was just because of the plastic. I made the mistake of trusting her and leaving them on the table while I went to the kitchen, I came back to her head in the bag licking the cheese dust off my Cheetos.

I got a blind cat which is greatly in love with chips. Can be sleeping in another room and if the sound of a bag of chips opening is in the house. He wakes up and rushes faster than a swat team and a hurricane combined to the location of the bag. Cats are amazing

The saddest thing I ever saw was the stray cat Simon at the campground where I used to live, when he was lying asleep on a picnic table right next to a closed ziploc bag with a fried chicken patty in it, which he wasn't able to open. I don't know where he found it. It had been thrown away. I opened up the ziploc bag and gave it to him, and he was happy.
