My Lovebird , Mercurio, cannot go out today because of the cold and rain. He loves being in his cage on my deck to be with the birds visiting the bird feeders. Listening to this is keeping him chirping and happy inside and he is not picking his feathers from boredom. Thank you so much for your dedication. We live in northern New England in the mountains with long cold winters coming...

Our new cat loves to watch these videos. She walks into the room, looks at the TV, looks over to me, and with her beautiful cat eyes asks, "please, can we watch some bird videos again?". My wife and I were just wondering if too much screen time for the cat is a thing to look out for, too? Thanks for the videos, it brings joy to our new cat and our home.

Our infant loves to watch this, and especially gets excited when the squirrel or black bird show up. Peaceful, not overly stimulating, one constant camera perspective makes it like looking out of a window of our house into the backyard. And he icing on the cake: no ads! Our cat Paul Lambert, loves this video. He is the sort of cat that isnt intrested in anything, especially if you want him to. He was watching me work on my computer so I put this video on for him. He kept trying to touch the animals, then kept looking around the screen to see where everything was going. LOL it was so Amazing. Now when I leave the house I will put this on to play for him so he wont be lonely.

Thank you so much for producing this video. My beloved, chubby British Shorthair was incredibly interested in this video. He always only looked out the window enviously because he could not go outside for safety reasons. However, as soon as the video was shown on TV, he tapped the screen and curiously walked around the back of the TV. His wild instincts were aroused and he looked really lively.

I was trying to get our 2 old cats to play with a cool feather toy but they just blinked eyes at me... until I played this and they went nuts trying to catch the feather toy the whole time. LOL The bird and wing flap sounds made them crazy!

Wow! my cats really loved this video! this was the first video i have ever played for them. I projected it on the wall and it kept their undivided attention for a good 1hr and a half. after that they started walking around doing other cat stuff but they were still half watching and they'd occasionally sneak up and try to hunt one of the birds! this is great!

your European starling at the start of your video is a breeding female (with its pink-tipped bill). The breeding male would have had a blue-tipped bill. These are great field marks to check for during this time of the year (about January to early August). Non-breeding European starlings do not have any yellow bills, but a greyish bill instead and more silvery-tipped glossy black feathers all over its body. :)

I have experimented with several cat tv channels and birder king is by far the one my cats like best. All I have to do is turn in the TV to have two cats suddenly appear, pointing at it like they’re hunting dogs. (I end up letting them have ten minutes of birder king before watching my own show.) I wish I could post photos of them batting at the screen….
