Luna and Apollo are in lovely moods this fine morning! They weren't interested in sniffing the cold morning air, but definitely were excited for breakfast and playing with their whirligig toy. Apollo especially loves when I place the toy by the tunnels so that he can jump on and over them, run through and bat at the toy from the inside, and so on. It keeps him occupied the whole time the toy is active! Luna finally wanted some booty scritches on her perch, and also enjoyed some cuddles on the couch this morning. I think their social needs are still pretty fulfilled! Their fountain had been added to, and their litterboxes had a healthy amount of leavings. Looking forward to our afternoon visit at 4!
Luna and Apollo have had a very good weekend! Apollo was eager to investigate the new tunnel I brought for them today, and again he absolutely loved it when I put the twirly toy next to the tunnel so he could bat at it through the fabric so I think it will become part of our regular routine! Luna wanted booty scritches on the shelf and lots of petting on the couch as per usual. Neither cat was keen for their dinner but Luna did take some time to work on the watermelon puzzle toy. I put some kibble in one of the mice as well this time and placed it in their oval/egg shaped bed next to the tree in their room since I rarely see them engaging with that item. They enjoyed some fresh air but weren't glued to the front door like they sometimes can be. Ice has been added to the fountain and their litterboxes have been cleaned. Planning to begin visiting at 7 am and 3 pm through Wednesday, then moving the morning visit to 8 am starting Thursday!
