CAT S22 Flip Dumbphone || Rugged and SMART. The CAT S22 Flip is an excellent device for what it has. It is not the best dumbphone out there, but the CAT includes a touchscreen that makes it easier to use. Also, the CAT S22 operates well in north america and can be unlocked. The CAT S22 Flip is the best of both worlds!

@@MrRetroswag this comment has the same energy as “don’t be depressed, just be happy”. Today’s hyper-addictive technology is quite literally designed to override your brain’s natural cues and willpower and keep you scrolling. That’s hard enough for regular people, but now we’re in the first generation of people who have grown up with technology, whose brains have literally developed in conjunction with this addictive technology and who truly do not know anything else. Now take a person who has been raised to be extremely susceptible to addictive tech, and give them a portable, durable device that is literally on their person 24/7. It’s like giving a person who has been drinking alcohol since baby bottles an infinite bottle of vodka that fits in their pocket. It is hardwired into many of us to be addicted to our screens, which is why the entire world essentially revolves around technology, and in large part specifically smart phones. So, here is a person who has acknowledged that they are spending too much time on their screen. They want to change and are looking for a solution that works for them. In this case, getting rid of the smart phone that enables the addiction. And what do you do? Make fun of them, and tell them not even to try their solution, because just not having an addiction is “so easy”, according to you. Honestly, just say you’re retarded and keep scrolling, man.

Do you know if its possible to replace the software for the kika T9 physical keyboard? I’m not impressed with its predictive text, the fact that you have to select each word before hitting the space button (it doesn’t automatically select the first word given), or capitalize at the beginning of a new sentence. I’m not a fan of the onscreen touch keyboard as the buttons are crazy small and when in use it blocks most of the screen. Plus I like a physical keyboard, and feel if done well t9 can be almost as efficient as a full qwerty keyboard, at least for texting. Not a deal breaker, but definitely not as nice a T9 program as my sonim xp3. Thanks!

Thank you for the quick comment, I’ve been following your videos for awhile now and pretty sure that this phone is exactly what Im looking for. AGM M7 is too small of screen, and lots of crashing issues on the sideloading of apps onto it. Touchscreen is nice, but viewing angles are horrible. Sonim XP5S has an amazing looking screen, but no sideloading support or touchscreen. Qin F21 Pro has a great touchscreen as well, but I can’t get any sideloading to work since it has updated firmware. So hopefully the Cat will check all my boxes. Thanks again!!

Hi Jose: Can you help me out? My Mom and I just got the T-Mobile REVVL 5G (after having the flip of the Kyocera DuraXT E4277 - Black ( Sprint ) Rugged Flip Phone. We had to switch because of the 3G going away by the end of this year. I am more inclined to use the flip again. The Kyocera had a great speaker phone and it was rugged. This regular version of the I-Phone is too tempting to use it all the time in the car and I do like the physical keypad more than using it on the screen. What do you think of us getting the CAT?
