I don’t care if he is straight or gay...he is freaking amazing!!!! Love him for being him and could careless about his sexuality. Sad though that he felt like he couldn’t be honest because worrying about being judged. We all need to stop judging. I love this guy!!! Not to mention he is a true athlete!!!

Good for him! My deceased older brother was gay and struggled with alot of things because of it, yet it wasn't a choice of his. I have a special place in my heart for all LGBTQ members of the church and LGBTQ BYU students.

Being gay and LDS isn't something you'll often see work... most of us leave the church to save our sanity. I hope he finds happiness and isn't afraid to make the decisions that are best for him.

BYU is a religious mormon school that had a lot of controversial rules about homosexuality and gay people

Gay is only a sexual preference it's not his identity. The man had talent shooting out his fingertips. Wish people understood gay is not their identity. Yes, I have gay family, my best friend is gay and they call it sexual preference not literally who they are. Hope he has found peace, he's absolutely amazing!!!!!!!

Except that dang commandment about being clean. It applies to everyone, straight or gay. I have gay friends. They haven't "come out" because they actually understand that it doesn't change anything.
