Actually that’s not true, most cats don’t like water because they accidentally fall in and it’s a shock. But if you gently introduce them to water often they like it. I’ve had many many experiences with cats liking water because I gave them a gentle experience and they were in charge.

My 3 cats, when kittens, all loved to help with the washing up. And each of them did it independently, because they never saw another do it. They were fascinated with the water coming out of the tap, especially a very slow trickle they could pat and bite and drink. They'd push dishwasher soap suds around on the surface to make a bubble-free space to see through to the bottom, and then try to hook out utensils etc. and favourite game was 'playing boats' with bottletops floating on the surface. None of them minded getting their legs wet to their bellies. So it was all just a fun game, but I never tried to freak them out by trying to bath them, or pour water over them or over their heads.

His little stretchy paws are so cute 🤍

I love this cat. This cat’s not just super dehydrated, it actually enjoys bathtime playtime.

My kitty hates getting bathed, but she loves to sit in the sink and play with the water coming out of the faucet, she’ll stick her paw in it, lick at it, wash herself, it’s the cutest thing ever ❤

My cat Harry would never get in, but would sit by the taps/faucets looking at me with great concern. He would test the water with his paw, seem perplexed at the heat, then resume looking at me with great concern. He died many years ago, but ill never forget him. We found him in a bin when he was a kitten. He was a great cat! RIP Harry ❤

This is amazing, cats hate getting wet because wet fur makes them vulnerable. So him wanting to be wet and is comfortable being wet means he feels so safe around you and likes to be vulnerable. ❤

I love her for having rave baths for her cat!❤😂

My tortoiseshell has always loved water...I adopted her when she was about 3 months old...brought her home...next morning I step into the shower...house is empty...and something touches my leg 😂 ...well after peeling myself off the ceiling I realized that Fiona liked water.

I love how absolutely terrified you were when she touched your leg! 😂 Our Lenny, passed away in 2011, he loved to scare my husband in the shower by hopping up on the tub and bat at the shower curtain. It was hilarious and the first time he did it my husband was scared half to death, too! Our cats are just full of hilarious actions! My sweet Peanut supposedly didn't complain at all at the humane society when they gave her a bath because she was covered in fleas at about 3 months, my poor baby!, but when we gave her a bath here she didn't scream but tried climbing out until she realized she just couldn't win! She passed in December and we all miss her everyday!

The paw under the door gets me every time! 🥰 My cat almost always wants to follow me into the bathroom. But when he waits outside the door, I know he wants me to shut it so he can stick his paws under and play with the rug in front of the sink to try to pull it under the door. 😸

I had a Siamese cat that followed me to watch me take a bath, she never got in the water but would stay in the edge of the tub, never minded when I turned the water on while my other cats run when I turned it on she was cool with it.

My girls tend to howl at the door and scratch at it or body slam against it yet get frustrated if I do let them in and close the door because then they can't get out. They just can't win! 😂

I had a orange cat about 30 years ago from a kitten who came in the shower with me and then eventually went into the bath. This was a extremely affectionate cat and was more like a puppy on the affectionate scale. He did not a have a long time this life but I miss his spirit.❤

I've chased it out of my yard at least 3 times causing trouble.. and I KNOW it was him starting fights last night. We don't know who he belongs to or if he's just a mean ol stray.

Yeah. I had to wash my cat's feet off because they got covered in mud. I only ran about a half inch of water so I could put his feet in and you would have thought I was putting him in acid the way he panicked and flipped out.

I have 3 cats and just being able to care for them (cleaning their litter boxes, feeding them, snuggles, etc) makes me feel so fulfilled and happy. They each have their own fun personalities. One of my cats is a sassy diva, the other is just a teddy bear and the last one doesnt shut up xD But of course it depends on the person and the cat(s). Just like some people don't click, some cats and people don't either.

The first two clips looked like he either slipped in OR WAS FREAKIN TOSSED so I was relieved to see him actually climb in on his own. Oml.

Marvin looks like he's either a Maine Coon Cat or has some in his bloodline. They're obsessed with & love water, it's one of their favorite things. It can be equated with Retrievers & their love of water. He's so precious & will continue to surprise you with his adorable antics & his demonstrative love!❤

@@karinwhorton4926 They were used primarily for the military and sporting to start out with but I remember in the 80s my younger brother was into the club scene and they would take ecstasy a lot and used glow sticks to create light shows for their viewing pleasure. Now they're just commonplace... or everyone but me is an Ecstasy addict. 🤔

Cats love their humans just as much as any other pet. They want to get to know us and spend time with us. No life form wants to feel alone or overlooked. We just have to find out what they like and have the responsibility and joy to be a part of it. ❤

Cats are actually very social little creatures.. It's how the humans around them treat them.. My boy is super cuddly but we have had him since little.. Our girl is getting there.. She moved in with us when she was about two, and is slowly slowly warming up to us humans, cuddles and kisses 😊
