The cover of No Surprises on Cat Piano is excellent as well.

So I tapped on this while listening to a soft kinda lofi piano song, and let me tell you, the transition was smooth and *HILARIOUS*.

I always imagined doing something like this whenever I saw the cat piano. Glad it's been done.

My neice has one of these, and I've always wondered how it would sound if someone really put work into it. Thankfully for me, Louie Zong was just mad enough to do so.

Louie's Goodwill seems to gravitationally attract all the best things...old cassettes and vinyl (Juice Man!), Weird Little Guys, and now this. I'm jealous!

this is probably what I thought I sounded like playing this piano when I was younger 😭

There's something horrifyingly surreal about this. The cat piano is constantly smiling while its teeth are used as piano keys, and it can't do anything but meow accordingly. The empty stare as it's being used strikes my soul. Am I supposed to feel guilt? fear? satisfaction for playing an instrument shaped like a cat? I am confused and I am scared, what have I done to myself

I have one of these and love it. Did a simple mod where you wire a 1/4 jack to the speaker wire out and then you can run it through amps or pedals, which is so much fun.

I grew up with a toy keyboard I absolutely loved and every time Ive gone to target to get a child a birthday present I see this cat and strongly consider getting it for them. But then I’m too nervous to play with it in the store and don’t want to get them one that isn’t as fun as the one I grew up with. This video has finally shown me the places this cat can go. And I will consider it more strongly the next time I’m in target.
