Cat Litter System: Clean every 4-6 weeks

You are going to love this easy way to clean your litter box!!!!
Simply add Pine Pellets, Breeze litter box, a puppy pad and a 24in plastic box for under the cat box.
Yes, it's a "breeze"! www.chewy.com/tidy-cats-breez...
Throw the pellets away from this system, buy kiln dried pine pellets (find in bulk online: cheap) and use instead (there's doesn't absorb urine) and use the tray for breakfast in bed with your kitties instead.

Hi. I tried this around 8 years ago. I think it was fairly new.🤔 I loved it so much more then traditional litter. I only used the pellets that came with the system. They would get stuck in the slots of the tray. Easy to dislodge but still a design flaw. I like the idea you share of using the larger pine pellets. The disintegrating into a fine dust eliminates dealing with any urin liquids. What a great solution for that issue. Thx for sharing.

Sorry Cindy Cats love clean litter & they can smell urine that our noses can't detect. What is so hard about removing the poo every day & replacing with fresh pellets, & not looking at the build up of faeces which is very unsightly to visitors, & makes some people think Cats aren't clean. I used pellets when my regular Cat litter was out of stock during restrictions i found it was easy to sieve the pellets so no sawdust waste with urine or poos were left in the tray, Cats like rummaging to cover their toilet, not walk in it & move it around.. It might be easier for you but not nice for your Cats..😖🙀

Hi J.M. My cats are mostly outdoors and use the outdoors to do their business so it works great for us. They actually love the litter and the box. If I had high visibility areas and or if it smelled and they weren’t using it ( which is the actual sign that they don’t like it), I would of course change it more. The pine pellets are wonderful and super absorbent and are great in your yard to ward off rats etc. With that said, I’m glad you have something that works for you! 😸

I'm BACKKKKKKK! Since I last commented on this video several months ago, I am now neck deep in feral cat families, doing TNR, getting the babies in line for foster/adoption, etc. I have 13 ferals/families in dog crates right now. Let me tell you, Wood pellets are THe ONLY way to go!! I was using clay at first because that's what the rescue groups supplied to me and YIKES the smell was HORRIFYING and WHAT A MEss. I am LOVING this pellet system, even in the confined dog crates, and NO cat or kitten has been adverse to using it. Smells better, less mess and WAY cheaper, PLUS I'm generating LOT of poop/litter these days and this wood stuff is going right into my compost heap and in some garden beds.

I put the entire Breeze box, minus the slide out drawer, on top of a So Phresh large open cat box with pee pad. About once a week, I change out the pee pad, and sawdust. Other than that, I just add more pellets as needed. My cats don't bury the poop, so I just scoop and flush. My cats are indoor cats, and they don't eat raw, so toxoplasmosis is not an issue.

Terribly mis-informed comment, at best. Cats are *obligate carnivores*. RAW MEAT is their NATURAL DIET. *PERIOD*. You are delusional if you believe the pet food *MANUFACTURING* industry; It's akin to Frito-Lay coming out and insisting that Doritos are a health food. 🙄🤣

So I bought the tidy cats breeze catbox with the Very expensive pellets & pee pads (although I've found them on Amazon for very cheap) but I've heard the pellets it comes with can be washed & reused. I see u have a larger box...

The rock pellets are expensive, especially on Amzn. Once we've decided on a box that isn't working for us, we're going to mix the pine pellets with the rock pellets and see how that turns out -- hoping for the best of both worlds. "Everybody, be nice!"-- my parting words when I have to go out, and leave the three monsters to their own devices. I don't know what the hell happens after I leave. So far, everybody's been in one piece when I return. My new theory is that their spats are purely performative, for my benefit. They're actually sleeping in a big pile and washing each others' coats when I'm not here.

Honey, I’m here because I’m looking for a more natural way of doing my kittens litter. You should look into the pine wood pellets for cat litter videos so you can understand more on how it works! You scoop the poop out every day and the pee dissolves some pellets into saw dust, so only the saw dust is what is basically dirty, now I know she said it’s been 6 week and you are supposed to clean the bottom part of this type of litter once a week or biweekly but it sounds like only 1 cat is using that so that may be the reason for not a lot of dust at the bottom. It is a cheaper option and way better than clumping litter. Also, it will not smell like cat pee but instead like pine!
