Eddie, with how big the U.P. has gotten, they must have had you and your brother zipping all over the system! Did you ever manage to get any time at home or have a quiet week? Mark from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 We have a lot of low railway bridges in Melbourne and over the years they have been protected by heavy duty protection beams. You are right about the force is towards the D10, compressing the springs and only goes the other way if pulling on something. But during normal use when the pusher D10 backs off and reconnects or changes speed or they hit uneven ground... the springs allow for that change in pressure. That change in pressure may still cause oil canning of your brackets/plate due to the compression spring's relaxing force. Not sure. Doesn't matter. Going back to my beer anyway. Good job as always.
