Way easier when the tractor is jacked up of the ground and the track is slightly lifted with a crane. Great job bro keep it up💪🏼

Is there an inner idler as well? Cos if there is I bet that's a right cow to change? I often find with large flanges that a selection of steel electors drifts and podgers help a good deal to align bolt holes without damaging any threads. I could see you thinking ' thank f**c for that' when you got that first bolt in. Been there, done that. Great to see a good field technician working on his own. Well done. 😀

Damn your coveralls almost look clean. It must be Monday morning. I just don't know how one man can get so dirty, as to look that way all the time.

How are you doing with that big JD transmission? That 1st output gear was a strange fit without any key ways, a lot of torque to be supplied through just two machined surfaces.screwed rod and oxy-acetylene torch are a plant fitters best friend.

You'll have your hands full with that big old lump of an engine, take care and no rushing about cos that when accidents happen, and ever day you go home intact and just tired is a good day.

Can some one please tell me what I’m doing wrong....I need to tension my tracks on my Challenger. I have the pipe running from out of my spol valve out the back of tractor and the other coming out the ram on the side of tractor. I set the screen in cab to see my tension rate and open up the hydraulic valve on the spol to pump and nothings happening. What else am I meant to do, is there something ells I have to do to pump in to the rams to tension them. Please please help.....I’m at the end of my tether! 😫

Thomas Langley There is a valve on the cylinder right by where your hose hooks up , take a 13 mm and turn counter clockwise a couple turns , then get in the cab and tension it. There are 2 valves the one torward the outside is the one you want to turn. Set your remote to constant then run rpm to 1800 leave there while tensioning for about 30 seconds and while remote is in detent get out and close valve on cylinder, then go back in cab put remote in float to take pressure off hose.

I've noticed that your narrator always seems to be several steps ahead of your mechanic. Ever consider asking his advice beforehand?
