Although you missed talking about nodes,legion,link skills which are a big contribution to damage for boss mules. You did an amazing job showing how to fill up all the equipment slots thank you for the helpful guide.

I completely agree! In this video it was mainly directed towards the equipment path of things, but I could've talked more about the finer details. If I make a remake of this, I will be sure to talk more about it.

@@saigrinYT OMG. It truly is. 😭 Especially when you don't have a pet to pickup the loot. The struggle is getting real.

Important thing to note is after new age you get 2x node slots which honestly makes the floor for up till i'll say cpap mule much lower since you can just equip most of the priority damage skills rather than compromising some skills like rn. edit* actually you only get 1 extra slot per 10 levels so 210 1 more 220 2 more but we get 2 more slots right at 200 so we're looking at 3-4 node slot increase. This probably helps most classes fit their burst buffs in by 220 but the buff might not have been as huge as i initially imagined.

Nodes are also super important for boss mules. You kinda glossed over it, but they make a huge difference for cra mules

That is true, nodes do make a huge contribution to damage output. This video was just mainly focused on the equipment path of things.

Thanks for the guide. Got afew questions: 1) you mentioned cube to epic when happy with it the equip, did you mean happy with the flame stats or when it’s sufficiently star forced without booming ? 2) is the Von Leon set that much better than pensalir set for the purpose of beating CRA? 3) do you/should you wait for better flame stat eq to drop before starforcing & cube?

1) I usually start to cube to epic when I'm happy with my flame stat. 2) In my opinion I think it is. The cumulative stats from the whole set effect is generally better for bossing and it has a bit better stats included. The pensalir set does have IED though, which is pretty good. But my main issue with pensalir is the fact the flames are not good. Being a boss drop, the von leon set has the potential to give you incredible flames and those stats become really important. Especially getting extra Weapon attack or Magic Attack on your weapon. 3) If you are in no rush to make boss mules, I think just do the dailies on the characters you want as boss mules as you progress on your main. Eventually, you will get great flames on the equips you need. But, I usually wait because I be chilling. You can also just flame them using flames that drop from bosses, or purchased from shops or legions. But to save on purchasing flames I usually just wait. Also, thanks for watching!

Thanks for the guide! I came back to MapleStory like 2w ago after a couple of years and started to level up some classes for Skill Links and/or Legion. Which class would you recommend for a Boss Mule?

No problem, glad it helped. My favourite ones are hero, bucc, wind archer, dual blade, and dawn warrior. Really simple classes that pack a punch!

Awesome video. You nailed the content! I have seen a couple of boss mule guides and they were too tall of a task for a casual like me. My main is the definition of poverty, doesn't even have max nodes, let alone drop gear, and you want me to spend 2 to 3 hundred nodes on a mule?!

is it economical to tier up with mystical cubes? they cost a chunk every use and don't have a very great tier up rate.

I'd say they are. Buying Bright and Glowing cubes do have a way better rank up, but they are much more expensive. For a 10 stack of Bright cubes it is 220 million, and if every mystical cube costs 450,000 to use for lvl.150 items, you can get in 488 mystical cube tries for the tier up. This is just incase you get unlucky and the Bright cubes don't tier up, it happens sometimes. T_T

Do you recommend the sweetwater wep over von leon?

If you have it, I would recommend it. The stats on the sweetwater weapon do make it better than the Von Leon 6 set. But if you don't want to do Commerci, the Von Leon weapon should do just fine until you get the fafnir weapon.

How much nodestones should i put in my boss mules? I'm making demon slayer and marksman boss mules

Usually between 500 to 2000 depends on how lucky you are. And after you get tri nodes. The rest is just for leveling up

Demon slayer takes a lot of nodes to get the perfect nodes it needs. Marksman on the other hand just needs one perfect trio. Yeah 500-2000 seems like a good number^, but if you don't got that much, you can make do with what you have, just got to be a bit more creative in the V matrix xD I was able to make decent boss mules using around 200 nodes. Luck and creative will help you out.

You forgot to mention your legion… I have same set 6% line on all my gears and legendary WE but only 700k max ATT… plus lvl 40 boost nodes and 4k legion

I would say, once you hit the 85% IED mark, you should put the points in your legion to either Boss Damage or Crit Damage. That's what I do on my legion board. For your range, you might want to change up your link skills and see if that helps.

How much effort do yall usually put into Arcane Force for boss mules?

Uhmm for me, my boss mules be starving xD. I play pretty casually, and don't play for too long, so most of the symbols be around level 1. But lvl 5 arcane symbols seems like a great place to leave them off.

Would you recommend empress set over von Leon?

It is the better set, but yeah I still recommend Von Leon set because it is way easier to get and you can complete it a lot sooner. Plus you will be moving on to the CRA set a lot sooner than you can complete the Empress set.

For me, I usually buy trait potions from event shops whenever possible. If not, I just equip some boss drops like Zakum helmets whenever I get them and sell them right after.

What level should we park our mules at for efficiency's sake?

220 to 230 is good for reboot imo. (Reg player here) for reg server i usually go up till 240 for efficiency.

Lvl.220 is a really good spot to leave most mules. They can easily clear up to CRA, and with a little more funding take on normal Lomien. Past that you might need to level even more, but I would wait until all your other mules catch up.

i'm at 20k stat and 93% IED and I still can't solo Vellum but I can on Lotus LOLOL
