I finally know what happened to my cat after he got neutered last year, my mom told me he was crying after she left which made her tear up but the vets told her that he was a really good kitty over there

Excellent video! This is the first time I have seen this procedure close up - very interesting and informative. Having your cat / dog neutered is the best thing that you can do for them as a responsible owner. I live in the UK and all my friends, family and colleagues have had their pets "done". In fact there is just one gentleman friend who didn't have his Tom cat neutered and it was bloody awful. He would let it out at night and you can imagine what it got up to with the female cats, plus it was always fighting with other male cats. But the worst thing was that it used to "spray" it's urine all over the house. Honestly his house stunk!!! My friends and I couldn't bear to visit him because of the smell, but one day the cat got hit by a car ( he wasn't badly injured) but whilst at the vets office he was encouraged to have his cat neutered (for health reasons amongst other things). After that the cat had a new lease of life and a pleasant smelling home 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Is it safe to give the anti rabies and anti feline herpes vaccination on the day of the surgery under anesthesia or would you advise against it, if the cat was stressed already from the carrier and the car ride to the vet. My cat is 11 months old, I rescued him when he around 3 months old as a stray and he was extremely weak from the cat flu and malnourished at the time. The vet had recommended he gain some strength first and had just given an antibiotic and vitamin C injection first and a bath, but couldnt get vaccinated at the time. Then the covid lockdown prevented me from getting the follow up appointment for the vaccines, so that's why so far he's never been vaccinated yet. He is a sweet, friendly Male ginger tabby and tomorrow is the day he gets neutered so would you recommend he get vaxxed at the same time or should we wait after he heals up from the surgery? Great videos, thanks!

What made me watch this video after we castrated our cat I don't know. Now I can't unwatch it. I almost throw up. When they say it's wrong the cut the ears and the tails of Dobermans, but then we do this. That has much bigger impact on the animal. Both are done to please the owner. We are hypocrites. We invented so many words about it to feel better about it. But it's plain and simple mutilation.

Why not just use the method I saw used on a calf? It appeared to be nothing more than a strong rubber band placed on the scrotum close to the body with the testicles isolated from the body. I was told it just 'dies' and drops off.

PETA is a load of lying SOB's. They maybe don't neuter them but they sure are killed in PETA shelters. They would rather gas them instead of spay them!!! I've seen numerous documentaries about this and I was sickened. I didn't believe it at first because I always thought that PETA were all for the animals you know. But former employees, biohazard collection crews and undercover reporters have come forward with actual film footage and photographs to show the world what they do. One photograph will always stay in my mind, there was a dumpster outside of one of PETA's so called "shelters" and inside was a huge refuse bag filled to the brim with cats & kittens that had been gassed! It was heartbreaking. I feel sick even now thinking about it.
