greatest fight scene ever. every moment is epicness especially with the conclusion to the fight u didnt show. its even more epic than the actual fight against dracula which is more for emotion than thrills. but that music: my god that is the MOST EPIC BATTLE MUSIC EVER!!!! every bit of it and the animation flows together to create such an awesome scene.

@@sebastienvondoom8615 You are right of course. My only gripe with this series though is the pacing. Snipping out the awkward extra seconds where characters dramatically stare at each other alone could have spared the length to 3 seasons with the same plot progress. I wont go on my Isaac rant, but I would have loved this show more had they edited it for less drawn out conversation and more fighting.

I like how Alucard utilizes his abilities from Symphony of the Night. The Power of the Wolf, the Sword familiar. And I especially love how he goes in with primarily his fists since the fists were one of the most broken attacks in SoTN lmao

This is about the idea of humans suffering the consequences of a man's foolishness and arrogance, so blind to his view of society and the world and finding fault in anything but your corrupted system. Seeing how frail is the Bishop's faith, how he can't do anything with his 'beliefs' against real evil, discovering the real obscure intent inside him, how he has doomed himself and probably all mankind; this is tasteful justice brought by demons, the allegedly real 'villains'. Conceptualize.

It's a sign of a good series when you biggest complaint is wanting more of everything.

I loved how Dracula and Carmilla’s forces went from attacking each other to teaming up attacking the trio.

Netflix Castlevania’s brilliant animation should set the standard for the Western animated shows!

The orchestral rendition of "Bloody Tears" in this makes me tear up every time. The childhood version of me could not fathom the cultural significance of the the games I used to play, the music I used to hum in my head in grade school. In spite of the violence and brutality on screen, it brings me back to a time when I was more innocent and the world more wide open. For that glimpse back, if nothing else, I will always love this scene. Then add to it the fact that it is a fantastically choreographed and animated scene and it is a highlight of the second season of Castlevania.

I had an uncle that passed away in Decemeber . Growing up we would play castlevania all the time and he is the reason I am so into this series. Unfortunately we never found the time to watch the Netflix show and I just recently started it . When this scene came on I also had to fight back tears so many memories with just a tune .

My favorite thing about this show is how awesome and powerful they made the Vampire Killer whip look. It doesn't just hit enemies. IT OBLITERATES THEM.

It's a nice nod to the classic games too. The monsters in the games did explode into fire when killed.

I love that as soon as a belmont is in the room all the infighting between vampires stops, they all just go for them and their Allies

Trevor being all "I terrify them" and then proceeding to mostly disorient never fails to crack me up.

I think first time from piano "tutorials" or similar. Then metal covers et cetera, you know what I'm talking about. But, wasn't even expecting it to pop up in this show, expectations on a Netflix show.. Yeah, they were not the highest., So I'm watching basically out of distant interest and to get knowledge of the franchise, then stayed for this.. masterpiece, plain and simply. And, oh boy, then, somewhat unexpected, nevertheless obviously dreamt of and hoped for, when the melody, finally hit... Damn.

Okay here is the plan, Trevor do some badass shit, Sypha do some badass shit, and Alucard do some badass shit. Ready? Break.

The voice acting in this is so good. Amazing work! Everything in this show is incredible !

I'm in the minority. The voices sounded good but lacked the human element and felt very scripted. To the point where nobody says anything during this fight and there's no interaction. Felt very robotic to me as did the whole series.

Season 3 will most likely be based on the events of Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, which takes place after Castlevania 3: Dracula’s Curse (the game the show is based on).

When Netflix does something right, I gotta acknowledge it. Absolutely epic

Bravo to Netflix for supporting this series, and bravo to all the cast and crew for bringing it to life. This scene was one of the most gratifying television moments for me ever. Castlevania is, in my opinion, under appreciated and deserves all the hype it receives.

Probably one of the greatest animated fight scenes I've ever seen - I've genuinely lost count of how many times I've rewatched this.

This really goes to show how strong the trio together truly is. They didn't even had that much trouble when facing against high level vampires

Having never played the Castlevania games, only watched playthroughs. When the music started in this scene I literally jumped out of my chair in excitement. Glad I was home alone at the time. Still on Season 3 because I don't want it to end!

When I heard that Bloody Tears orchestral remix play during this scene - I came. I didn't even have to use my hands.

The fact that you can tell these are not just your average video game enemies because of how they move just gives you the idea of how strong the trio is

I really love how trevor also uses his whip like a rope dart and not just only in the traditional whip way when the enemy is in close range. Nice attention to detail there

When that music hit I geeked so damn hard. I actually stood up to watch the fight scene and cheered it on. My wife just shook her head in disappointment.

I absolutely freaked out like a little child when that song kicked in. Absolutely a love letter to castlevania fans.

I want to thank my father who got me into castlevania at such a young age. Him and my uncle used to play this series as kids alot. Thanks to him we both can enjoy the true glory of this series and thanks to Netflix as well

There are some things more pressing than power. Such as fighting for survival.

As a dude that grew up with classic Nintendo and is now well into his thirties, I can confirm that I shrieked like a little kid when this track dropped.

You know your squad game is on point when everyone stopped killing each other to fight you.

My favorite fight scene of this season was Trevor vs the creatures inside the Belmont Library. The animation was fucking gorgeous. I also liked the scenes where Dracula's castle was teleporting from one spot to another.

@@radicool21 Also, each movement actually looked as if it had weight behind it. And Trevor played that fight very smartly. He knew that even the strongest human had little chance of overpowering a vampire, so he had to out-play him instead. He did this by keeping Alucard at a distance with a whip, and once that was disabled, kept Alucard on edge with quick movements as he swapped his sword back and forth. That fight still could have ended with a draw by both of them dying. That was my second favorite fight. My favorite fight however was the one portrayed in this video because of the emotion Bloody Tears adds to it.

This scene was a culmination of every concept of epic, driven by the beat of rousing, glorious madness.

I had chills when I heard Bloody Tears play the first time. We need more original Castlevania music in season 3 please! Also, Berserk adaption.

I love how all the vampires stop attacking each other when the Belmont Trio enters the castle, like they just realized, "Uh oh, a squad of protagonists has showed up!"

This theme was the hardest theme on Netflix animated series whoever worked on the show was a mastermind because they got everything right the animation is so superb the music great the story great best thing since 2014

1:25 you can pretend to be as cool as you want, but you will never be as cool as the son of Dracula transforming into a sword-wielding wolf and *suplexing a vampire by the goddamn throat.*

If there is ONE thing I can complain about this series is how it fails to use the amazing Castlevania soundtrack properly. BUT... this scene does redeem that. My heart burst when I listened to those first few notes.

"Begin..." Best way to start a fight ever.

One of the best shows ever created. The level of detail and lore adhered is above reproach. LOVE IT.

Still re-watching this scene over and over 3 years later, because this was the best fight of the series. Other scenes came close, but this one was perfection because of the music.

That feeling where you hear the background music and realise what's playing for the first time is brilliant

Hollywood, watch and learn! THIS is how you adapt a video game.

Castlevania on the NES was the first game I ever played. It led me into playing many, many more Castlevania games. You can only imagine how pleased I was when they made this Netflix show and they paid homage to everything I hold dear in my favorite video game series. Pure masterpiece.

Please do a Berserk adaptation.

At first, I was disappointed that they weren't using any of the game soundtracks in the series, but this scene showed me that they were right to wait until this moment.

So, something that makes this anime feel unique among anime is the fact that it looks and sounds nothing like a standard anime. It looks and feels like an American animated series like Avatar The Last Airbender.

There was nothing “American”about this, except for the language. The art style and fight choreographs were clearly anime-inspired. Every fight scene brought up memories of some of the best animes I’ve ever watched.

Please Netflix, we beg you, don't let this one die, it's too good.

This is the best fight in any video game adapted series ever.

the most chilling nanosecond of this fight scene is how all the vampires in the room just throw caution to the wind, put all grievances aside and just leap down that staircase like a black and silver tide. its like they are so terrrified of what these 3 can possibly do to them, that they simply cannot dive into the fray quick enough and just fking bombrush the party

The first time I watched the anime I had never played any Castlevania games and thought this fight scenewas awesome. Now I'm re-watching the anime after playing a couple games and listening a lot the their soundtracks. This scene is seriously 10 times more awesome now that I know what music is playing.

Arhhhh, i thought for a second Netflix released trailer for season 3!!!!

Druid/rouge? He wields a sword thats like 6 foot long. I guess its a estoc.

I think Alucard would be a Druid/Warlock hybrid. The Warlock offers more vampire-like powers and the sword familiar could be seen as his pact weapon from the pact of the blade

I always thought that Trevor is a Rogue due to his agility-based combat style utilising weaponry like whips and short blades while Alucard is a fighter due to being a crazily strong guy wielding a big sword.

@@user-hz9hu4gh2z dex fighter-ranger fits better than rogue for Trevor since he's a vampire hunter after all. The one that should be the rogue is Grant Danasty

I wish I had recorded the small army of 80s/90s nerds in my living room when we saw this for the first time. We went OFF. Show was really entertaining up to this point, but this was finally some straight up, no questions asked, legit Castlevania shit, and it was PERFECT. I think we probably rewound it four times.

When I first watched this, I got stupid excited when I heard Bloody Tears. I couldn't believe they added it in since, ya know, licensing is overly complicated. Just because you have the license for a game doesn't mean you have the license for the music. Really helped make the scene. Awesome show.

This scene is amazing the sound track Bloody Tears is just perfect,me smiling like kid who used to play Castlevania in 90s.

My favorite scene. It is too perfect. From the Vampires shock to the Bloody Tears playing in the background.

0:26 when bloody tears played, it sent serious chills to my spine. I thought we won't get any original soundtrack for this. My goodness. Also I love the homage to Sword Familiar

No matter how many times I see it, when Bloody Tears starts playing, I always get chills.

This is the highlight of movie adaptation from a video game. They knew exactly what strings they needed to pull to make this epic. They had respect for the source material and it shows.

Love that Alucard doesn’t take the sword out of the sheath but the sheath off of the sword 🤘

This series kicks so much ass. Everything about it is good. The animation, characterization, the acting, the staging. This whole fight sequence (plus Adrian vs his father which was brutal but touching) was spectacular. I loved Voltron, now I love this too. 🖤

This scene tears me up with the bloody tears soundtrack. I also love how Alucard calmly says ‘Begin’.

The vampires made fun of the prophecy but when that prophecy came knocking at the door they couldn't help but tremble in fear.

I get chills everytime i hear bloody tears start up in this scene.
