This one took a bit longer than usual to gather footage for and edit. Lament of Innocence is a great game that everyone should play but only if they want to.

Dang I actually really liked Leon
This soundtrack does slap. I liked Lament of Innocence so much that I tried to design a D&D campaign around the concept of this game.

give us more details man. did you succeed ? was it fun?
I always wish for this one to be remastered
This is my favorite 3D Castlevania game and the first one I played in the whole series. I liked it so much it inspired me to try out the other titles, now I can say I'm a fan of the franchise. I agree with most of the criticisms you made here with the exception of Leon's design/voice acting but that's going to differ from person to person. I never really noticed and if I did I just figured it was a product of its time. The fight against Walter wasn't too bad for me, my Cross sub-weapon with the Black orb you get from defeating the Forgotten One (a particularly brutal and lengthy optional boss battle may I add) made quick work of him but Death on the other hand... my GOD was he a test in frustration! Death is in many ways such a cheap and unfair boss. Your sub-weapons cannot hurt him so they're useless after Walter is defeated and his attacks are so quick and on point you need to have Jedi reflexes to avoid them. Not to mention they do a stupid amount of damage if and when they do hit hit you. Other than that, the rest of the game is incredible. The musical score, artistic design, boss battles and overall story are all superb, truly top tier stuff even in todays day and age.
Fog Enshrouded Nightscape is a masterful track
Great game - would love to see a remake
Great video. I watched my cousin play this as a kid, but never got around to playing it till now. Have a copy and I am getting on this December 2022!
Just... Leon Belmont. He's given up his title.
12:50 the camera took a big messy shit
Never got a chance to play this one, but I still listen to the follow-up, "Curse of Darkness'" soundtrack in my car sometimes.
