This game can have its flaws but it's unsettling, really good atmosphere for the most part

It's one of my favorite CVs, music and initial progression are issues for sure but the central gameplay is rock-solid.

This game was really the polar opposite to Circle of the Moon. Very easy compared to how brutal Circle is. Too bright for a GBA SP while Circle is too dark for a GBA

Circle of the Moon revive the difficulty of the first games, no everybody can complete the first Castlevania.

Si este juego hubiera sido lanzado para Nintendo DS, habría sido un éxito, la principal debilidad que tuvo este juego es que trataron de replicar Symphony of the Night en una consola que NO tenía lo necesario y el resultado fue evidente, hubiera sido mejor lanzarlo para la DS.

Being on a more powerful console definitely wouldn't have hurt, but I still think it's really good as it is.

The original Nintendo DS can also play GameBoy Advanced games.

As Maxim, I could really breeze in that boss rush in over 15 minutes. I might do another to get faster times.

Honestly, I just can't get past that blue outline around Juste Belmont. Extremely distracting.

No stacks ? First time seeing this on youtube

@@shovatar1635 stacks are a technique HOD Speedrunners use to deal more damage than just a whip swing It plays with the capacity and memory of the game There's 2 types ( more ) of stacks but it's better to see it than explain it You should watch JupiterClimb's HoD Speedrun to see some good stack There's stack with cross and wind Cross Stack with axe Stack with gradius Stack with faerie ( black book ) Stack with holy water even tho it's more difficult

@@shovatar1635 It's this glitch where you can deal tons of damage to an enemy every frame. Typically it's done by using a subweapon/spell, hopping and attacking in the air, then dash cancelling and attacking again. Something screws up in the game's logic, and your attack hits the enemy every frame. It shreds through most bosses in seconds

@@DoctorPoopenFarten Thanks for the info! Coincidentally I just watched a speedrun the other day where I saw a guy doing that. I wonder how hard it is to learn/execute.

The music is definitely a problem, but for me the issue was more with the sound itself than the compositions. Thank you for watching!
