That guitar is a creatable weapon in the game and as far as that toilet goes, there's many seats in the game (shout out to SOTN). If you find all the seats there is a secret room somewhere in the game that will have every chair you've sat in.

Tbf his powers are way more than what Netflix shown. He’s a skilled Alchemist and Magician, not just some dude using a hammer to make demons out of corpses

Criminally underrated game! Insanely good music (abandoned castle is easily one of the best CV tracks), fun combat, awesome weapons, and the infinite devil system was well executed (the ice dragon familiar was sooo good). Love this game!

Easily the most underrated game in the series. It's amazing!

This was actually my proper introduction to the series. I had seen others play SotN, and as an 80's baby I always knew of the originals, but this was MY first playthrough. So sad that Hector didn't get a grander story in the show, but what they did with Issac was amazing.

39:35 this part onwards is literally the best thing in the entire game for me. The suspense, the build-up, the music and the unexpected boss. This has always been my memory of the game whenever it crossed my mind for the past 14 years since i first played it 😂

Even in the prequel mangas to Curse of Darkness, he was already a man of convictions, plus he was Dracula's top Devil Forgemaster. Netflixvania Hector is fan-fiction Hector, far weaker abilities (Netflixvania's Forgemasters are dead body reliant summoners and are not the highly trained battle alchemists of the OGverse) a total joke not even worth staying under the shadow of his OG self.

Maybe they did that to give him story arc for becoming stronger and smarter. Show doesn't need 4th invunerable character just ready to beat the shit out of everyone.

I love how Trevor Belmont have (almost) the same moves of Leon Belmont from Lament of Innocent ...Good old times...

Saint Germain was dangerous with that poison sword attack, especially when he speeds up time to accelerate the effects of the poison. That combo could kill you in seconds.

Lol he was one annoying boss. Dullahan kinda was at first but most the bosses are pretty easy.

The boss in this part 38:00 used to frighten me when i was a kid. Mainly because it was a surprise boss, the settings, the boss itself and that out of this world music. Very great game. So nostalgic to see this. The feeling is just as good as revisiting your childhood.

I hate to break it to you but this does not happen if the show. You see, the writers figured out pretty early that getting rid of Dracula would kill the series so they decided the ditch him for death as an actual threat and give him a happy ending just so they can make another Castlevania series starring Richter Belmont.

I played this game so much when it came out... where did all the good stuff go for gods sake! These games were awesome

Here's what REALLY happened. When Judgement tanked due to making a poor first impression in the west, Konami had already become greedy tone-deaf 2010s Konami, and thought this meant nobody cared anymore. That was the end for Castlevania.

I have never played or watched a full playthrough of any Castlevania game, but any series that opens with a magic robot and a heavy armored dragon has my interest.

Gameshark in use,I own the game and fightng legion proved it to me,legion used a certain attack guaranteed to lose a hit point and it didn't some of the stuff that he dodged should have made him lose his points but it didn't. But that's my opinion

shadowshinobi06 it's very sad I'm seeing this 3 months later :-:, but nvm that. After looking back on it ( I first played it when I was like, 6, and resumed playing it at 14 and got overwhelmed by nostalgia 😂 ) I will admit the level design isn't the best. But it can always be worse

totally thought you immediately got stuck by the skeleton driver when that fight came up. really good job on the boss run it really reminded me of when i was younger and i played this game nonstop. its such a great game and im happy your run helped me reminisce those good times.

Makes me question why Dracula ( who just got reborn ) had tomato juice on him...

I remember playing this for ages, levelling to 99 and working out what works best on each boss to do Boss Rush. The wizard ID that makes a star comet wrecks Dracula.

you know I feel like alot of ppl slept on this title, the story was excellent.

Hats off to this amazing game, especially the BGM compositions are just mind blowing. Castlevania will always prove itself in it's music.... Hah

Hector shows up harassing the poor minotaur, recovering after getting extensive back surgery. But he's no punk b--he tears a pillar right off the foundation and says, "Come and get it." Had he been fully recovered, Hector might not have survived this fight...

Fighting saint germain was one cool ass fight in my opinion especially when he does the world

Even without comparing him to his game counterpart I thought the story of Netflix Hector was very underwhelming...for all the shit he went through the payoff was very little and unsatisfying And I don't think we'll ever get to see THIS Hector from Netflix, they said this story arc is done and the continuation they want to make will happen in "the same universe but with a different cast", for me it sounds like they're moving to a different Belmont :/ would love to eat my words and they have a season or two focused on him but I don't think so

Wanderson Silva I havent seen the series yet, but I guess the anime is based on the first Trevor's "adventure", so I kinda understand if Hector is not as badass as here, because this game is based 3 years after those events and Hector is also the protagonist...

VallesGraphics I’d give that title to either of the “Sorrow” games. Aria and Dawn are so good, that I don’t think the others can compare. CoD, LoI, and SotN are pretty good, though.

If one can literally block a stream of fire then he can do anything.

That Saint Germain boss is one of the coolest fights in the series. Speeding up time after poisoning you, straight up popping you with a gun, making you think you've won only to refill his health. Germain and the Skeleton Diver are probably my favorite bosses so far (haven't beaten the game yet)

The soundtrack of this game are sublime.

The theft system was A-1. A bit difficult for some enemies, but def. Added to the game.
