That was brilliant. I lived in Castlemilk from 1960 till 1965. I had some fond memories of living there, but it was a rough place to be at times. Thanks Charlie. and family for the tour.

Found this by chance, on the left at 5:44 you can see my Mum, Gran, Brother and myself as we walk home from Mass. Great Video!👍🏻

I was brought up in Glasgow in the 50s and 60s but much nearer the city centre. It's really nice to see Castlemilk looking so bright and sunny. I had a friend who taught in St. Margaret Mary's School from about 1969 for a couple of years .... and there is the new building. Very enjoyable!

I left Castlemilk in 1958 and moved to s.e London I went to Castlemilk school, I lived in castlemilk drive

I was brought up in 240 Castlemilk Drive from 1963 onwards so im a bit younger LOL......Castlemilk nowadays is full of people 'undesirables' who had to leave their own schemes because of Handbag snatching etc.And i hate to say this Suzie one of them is my next door neighbour........& We have Donna Drummond who poisoned young men and is responsible for the deaths of 3-5 people DOWNSTAIRS Stay put and stay safe....

Enjoyed your tour (parts 1 & 2). Saves me some petrol next time I'm up oi Glasgow, I'll just show this to my two born in England sons. A former Baby-Lander.

Good to see the old place, my family also lived not to far from you Charlie, we were the Bowman's at 73.

I live in Castlemilk

Flat 19 at 25 Dougrie place Castlemilk was used as a Brothel up till 3 months ago when a certain lamont family held the flat.In command was a Bi-Sexual police-informer called Joe McGarrigle.Amongst his punters were a PC Answar and Co.But since the tenant below (flat15) heard about this he complained and took his computer to Aitkenhead R'd Police station.It fell on death (deaf) ears.MCgarrigle and the police have had it in for J.M below for years and McGarrigle now has keys to the empty flat along with fellow grasses in the Scheme.He has had his computer hacked and has been charged with putting graffiti about McGarrigle on the walls of the landing.He has also been charged with assault on Donna Drummond and another with a neighbour...Its on camera about the poison little dwarf and his cronies (his next door neighbour in 314 Ardencraig Road) COMING INTO THE HIGH RISE BLOCK!!!and a trial is looming in the future......All are welcome to witness McGarrigle give evidence against the accused soon.McGarrigle was caught with 4 ounces of HEROIN in Rutherglen but didnt see the court stairs??????????........He is a paid police informer and is used to set people up all over the city (Drugs+computer crimes etc) a wee fucking weasle is HE...CYB
