Left stockton twenty years ago to live in France 🇫🇷 It hasn't aged well. I remember the old shops and streets and old pubs (lots of pubs) which were there before the castle center. But most of all I recall the smell of the river down at the old quaysides. It was said that if you fell in you would die of chemical poisoning long before you drowned.
