I remember there were sexual sounds during the ending screen. These flash games always had some shock value, but that plus the dead cat picture were incredibly unnerving all those years ago!

Out of all the Castle Cat game, this one was probably the strangest one outta them all. but i do like how the Boss Fight has music from the game ''Painkiller''

I think what scared me so much as a kid was the sudden switch up between the cartoony flash animation of the game and the sudden black and white picture of a cat corpse upon death, it just felt so out of place to me

Thanks for uploading. This was one of my first "shocks" back then when I was just learning about the internet and did nothing but binge flash games because they were the only webpages I was allowed to browse.

I loved that Tapeloop remix as a kid and coming back to this now I still love it, and I love the wierd style this and the other Castle Cat games have

it's strange that this game over screen didn't scare me at all

It's pretty ironic how CC3 still works but not CC4 Update (12/13/2023) : Now all of them work except CC1. CC1 has a bug where the cat falls through the screen.

2007 probably not, the first mention I could find was in 2006 (web.archive.org/web/20061213103728/www.mausland.de/214.maus). So I'm not totally sure what year it's from.
