It started off with 4 fishermen staying in their zones, before it became loaded with desperate idiots getting in the way of the smart ones, with those desperate idiots not hooking up much. Thanks for the video Chris! I've been wondering where you've been with the fall run and albie videos. I don't know about you down in Jersey, but it's been a very disappointing fall run along the shore in areas of southwestern CT. There's been some crazy days of small fish and some 5 fish days in the backwaters as long as the adult bunker aren't stacked up. There haven't been any bigger fish on the adult bunker. Throughout October, the water temperatures have been warmer than normal. We shall see what this cold snap does.

It's kind of a happy feeling and you kinda start seeing every younger person with a bit of nostalgia and kinship because you have been there and kinda know what they must be going through. It takes a bit of maturity but I'm sure you'll get there.

The thing that blows my mind is how durable and strong those Stripers look and if they are kept out of the water for a very short time, they can die. That always amazed me when I found that out.

I saw a massive school of 54 inchers once up against the jetty and surf at either shinecock or moriches inlet. This was over 20 years ago. Quite something to see.

I was the first one reeling in a small bluefish and instantly someone ran over to my right and was casting into my lane (?!!) and a guy ran over to stand on my left and actually bumped my arm twice while reeling in.

I'm also glad you're back, you OK. Nice opener, too much of a positive outlook. What were they feeding on, rain bait..

haha I have been there, rolling around in the wash. I enjoy watching kayakers surf launching/landing, there is great strategy especially in the surf landing. I still have a kayak I just dont use it much these days.
