Fue hecho para Heifetz, esa manera tan hipnotica de tocar inigualable. Este concierto me parece como si fuera un poema sinfonico como el de sheherazade. Yo tenia este disco pero con los años desaparecio, por lo menos lo puedo volver a escuchar aqui ya que es muy difici de conseguir.

We are lucky to have this and Oistrakh too and Kogan recorded many violin concerti and Sonatas rarely heard on today's programs . The Pancho Vladigerov 1st concerto is worth hearing !

Heifetz only is perfect for this concerto, unlikely Castelnuovo-Tedesco isn't known from many violinists. I love this concerto and Heifetz is my favourite violinist. Thank you to have uploaded it

Violinists in the know, know it. Dare I say, I may prefer this concerto to Korngold’s concerto?!

Yes. Heifetz helped Castelnuovo-Tedesco escape fascist Italy and helped him get a job (with MGM Studios) once he arrived in Los Angeles.
