The identity is placed at birth and not deeds cz there is no way to ascertain "good deeds" of someone in their "past life". In fact, what Brahmins consider good deeds itself is under fire now. If deeds alone decided which caste you could select then the entire Brahmin caste should be annahilated cz there is nothing Brahmins have achieved as an identity group that can be considered as respectable or useful.

Coming from an SC community and being economically affluent, I always thought of quotas as a tool of electoral gain against the Brahmins and the other UCs till I grew older and felt the caste consciousness among people who I called my friends , people who I Loved . It wasn’t anything explicit but it was the way they looked at me , like a circus monkey who got decent money . My surname doesn’t clearly indicate my caste and I can’t tell the abhorrent thing that I’ve experienced from people . Jai Bhim .

I've been a long time fan of George Carlin. Kunal did initially remind me of him with some of his jokes on politics. But Carlin is much more bold and fearless, he doesn't mince words. And yeah I realise that sort of joke would get any person in India immediately jailed. So Kunal really is the best we've got but I pray one day all will be allowed to express themselves freely.

I think the focus should be on quality of primary education but it is not going to give the political parties any votes. Everyone is casteist, classist and racist because this is natural to human In norths brahmins aren't the most casteist one it's the jaats ahirs and many other OBC communities even thakurs aren't that casteist as jaats are but all the blame is on brahmins You think brahmins were so powerful and influential that they singlehandedly created caste and divided community, I guess it's the opposite ie people were already divided by way of living , geography and certainly their physical appearance (racial) and it's this dharma which binded them At present dalit identity is the most casteist identity but yeah we are to believe that they are fighting for caste whereas the truth is they are spearheading their caste identity to make political inroads Only solution to caste is economical development, as people scale higher ok their economical status they get over their caste identity but then again will come class identity (which is fine).this is ample clear as we see caste barriers are less to be found in urban settlement as compared to rural ones. Brahmins are not casteist this is very human nature people like to associate with people who appear same as themselves as simple as that

Thank you for the free wisdom though, i'm sure many would appreciate this. I wish I could find a list of deeds, i.e. my karma of my past life that made me getting born from Brahma's head. Although the last time I checked my mother had to carry me for 9 months and bleed for almost 30 years to deliver me (and bleed some more to stay and nurse me, i.e. staying alive). Let alone my list of karma, none could tell me who I was before this birth! So strange! This must be so strange. Others must have gotten the list easier. Nevermind!

Viewers should realize that it is a responsibility of (so called) upper caste people to educate their own people about the social privilege they carry which has kept Outcastes, Tribals & OBCs socially & economically backward for generations & still continuing to do so! Caste issue is a problem of upper castes & the religious orthodoxy. Dalits, Adivasis & OBCs are in fact trying to get rid of it! As someone who was born in economic privilege if not social & trying to get away from caste biases, I hope our society become wiser & get rid of caste sooner than later for an exchange of a healthy society! obc are trying to get rid of it ,really? there are numerous cases where obc have committed caste based crimes against dalits , if there was a fight against caste such cases should not be there

I have safely exited this super inhuman culture I had been emotionally growing in. It is a lot of work to do. To unlearn the internalised shame, the internalised anger, every inappropriate and antisocial action and thought which are engulfed and laughed off. There's lot of work... There's a lot, a work of about two decades of backlog.

Does that backlog include learning about or knowing official info about how the ruling elites in medieval,early medieval and modern india especially the mughal raj and british transformed or modified it according to their will or is it easy to chose a soft target because you're to scared to throw a punch at your abrahamic brothers?.

The so called upper caste families are not even able to understand the trauma present jn their so caller normal modes of behaviour. I know how much trouble had to go through for my inter caste marriage and still going through. Whether it is eating, talking, sitting, jokes whatever u call it there is caste. And yet they say now there is no caste discrimination.

@@AdityaPandey-cr5xy don't get me wrong brother, I'm a man from non-brahmin general caste. Never been oppressed. But i always seen that parents never killed their own son for marrying other caste unless it is sagotra marriage. But it is always the daughter gets killed in honor killings never the son.
