My friend let me have his n felt terrible. Full force casting it I could only get it to go like 10ft . Even after watching a ton of videos on it

I purchased one of theses at Walmart for $50 dollars and it cast 25 feet plus I have no problem whatsoever with this rod

You have to pop off the left plastic part of the reel and there’s a little black rubber band that pops off sometimes put the band back in place and the reel will cast
