Blu was my mom's favorite. We would see them every summer they came to the Cape Cod Melody Tent. My girl is my dad's song❤ we would sing it at the end of every phone call til he passed. Truly the soundtrack to our lives.....

Can’t wait to see this outstanding show! I grew up in Motown during the Temps heyday. This brings back the sights, sounds and memories of my childhood in such a big way. So proud to have grown up where the Motown sound gave its gift to the world.

I'm glad someone is keeping this music alive! It's truly great and timeless.

Most of the best music from the 60s came from Motown, this was great.

I grew up listening and seeing the entertainers of motown. Their moves was of GRACE SMOOTH and CLASSIC now that REAL SOUL... not pop...They need to pull out those old films and see the real talents.....because this right now was told by people who do not look like us( his story)

This musical is a must see. Singing was so darn amazing, dancing and choreography was awesome. I loved the show and want to see it again!!

I show this show in Berkeley, CA. It was magnificent! I bought the " Ain't To Proud" T shirt and everyone asked where I got it from. I will see it again!

❤Love, love, live me some temptations. Was listening to them the other day. When my son was in HS band one year their show was Hits illegal USA and one of the songs was "Can't Get Next To You" it was awesome with a dance routine.

That's not how I remember the Temptations! They were methodical and smooth in their dance movements! I guess it was okay! They had a step called the "Tip!" I remember how it goes! I did not see this in the dance performance! Those were the days of real soul!😁❤️

True, but don't forget they are on Broadway and they have to cater to both the older and younger generations.

Their all very talented, but it would have been nice if they would have stuck to the original dance style and singing of the Temptations. I agree that the Temptations Movie was on point, they never changed their dance style or singing into something else, because this is what they were known for.

Only the originals could do the original singing and dancing. God don’t make cookies, cutting people! They made it “Their Own” and it’s fantastic! Life just doesn’t have duplicates or substitutes people. Fair!

I thought the same thing. If they are supposed to be the Temptations, they should have kept their same dance style. The Temps were smooth. They weren’t Hip Hop.

This was the best show ever! We were there on Saturday at the Imperial theater as Otis Williams was the special guest in the audience. Most humble man ever and we were able to spend his birthday together. Happy Birthday Mr. Williams! You are a true legend!

Broadway performers are trained to use the healthiest technique possible to preserve their voices since they are performing every single night, sometimes 2 shows in certain days. In a way, it makes it seem so "Sanitized".

I have this too. Bought it back in the day. Loved the actor who played David Ruffin. Temptations came to Bloomington normal back in mid 2000. Otis Williams last original member still was performing. They went to a local nursing home to give Christmas gifts. They didn't want any press for it.

Saw Ain’t Too Proud to Beg in Cleveland. It was wonderful.

As a "baby boomer" who grew up listening to the "Motown Sound", these performers have the sound down pat. BUT the "moves" are all WRONG! Btw, I can't complain because they were MUCH better than most of the performers AND the "music" I've seen/heard these days. 👏😁👍

I came to say exactly this! I grew up with the Temptations. They have modernized the moves, probably to suit an audience that would find the original choreography too tame. The Temptations were iconic for a reason. Plus these dudes were definitely not singing live.

I grew up on Motown and other soul music, but I am more of a "listener" than a dancer. I like the choreography, but I feel that the music was more important than the dancing. However, the dancing is much better than the rap and hip-hop performances which are cheap. Also, The Temptations dress and look better than those hip-hop artists. I would love to see The Temptations in person and feel their music.

I know, I was about to cry, especially when that young man did the lead of David Ruffin. All kind of Beautiful day came rushing back. Going to the park not having to worry about getting shot, play in front of the house, jumping rope and play hop scotch, In the summertime was the most Beautifulest time of children live!!! Now they're getting gun down💧💧💧And I weep for them. It brought back wonderful memories but then I come back to this sinful time we're living in!!! GOD Please Help Us, Your Children🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Very happy to see they made this show, and these guys are really talented - BUT . . . they ain't the Temps. They're missing something to be sure. It's a little too Broadway, lacking the grit. This just made we want to listen to and watch the originals.

The movie along with it’s cast was 1,000% BETTER AND MORE REALISTIC. This is for TOURISTS AND THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER SEEN THE ORIGINAL TEMPTATIONS PERFORM, I have since the 60’s at the Apollo Theater and they did not sing or prance around like that.

I was in high school in the 60s. The only thing on the radio was Motown and news. No folk music. I loved all these groups, trios, duets, soloists, the precision dance moves Bruno Mars loves.

My Sister bought tickets for me for my Christmas present on January 8th 2022 and this Musical/Play/Dancing Show was Inspiring, electrifying and over the Top but it ended on January 16 2022. I hope they come back again.
