For those who are curious, here a list adressing/explaining every uncertainty in this video: 1) Pharah being able to crouch to get down faster from the air was indeed an experimental patch, as said by Luminen 333 in the chat. 2) Cassidy has always been able to build a skull on a Reaper in wraith form 3) At the end of OW 1, you were able to cancel EMP with flashbang as the cast time of EMP was nerfed pretty hard, though besides players like Wanted very few people could actually pull that off 4) Cassidy's damage fall-off has changed indeed, but Cassidy has always been able to headshot + melee to one-shot a Tracer regardless of balance patch 5) Flaming Mercy players actually gives you a death sentence these days 6) I don't hate Flats in the slightest, he's my favorite OW content creator

I played a lot of Sombra and very little Cassidy, it really wasn't that hard to flashbang an EMP. If the Sombra had a brain and translocated in from a flank to EMP then it'd need a lot of prediction rather than just being reaction to her decloak/pre-translocation animation, but it really wasn't so hard that only players like Wanted could pull it off with any kind of reliability.

I love the pause at 7:41 where you can see how wonky the flash/sticky grenade throw actually is. He’s still throwing with his left hand and hasn’t released the grenade, meanwhile you can see the *real* grenade is already in flight at the Winston after popping out of Cass’s codpiece.

Yeah because thats how animations work, the grenade in the hand is just an animation, the actual physical grenade is just spawned near his hand. The bullets you also see arent the actual bullets, thats also animations, the real bullets are invisible. Its not wonky thats just how it works.

Yeah, I understand all that, but the wonkiness comes in with not delaying the visual spawning of the second, traveling grenade that comes out of his dick while he's still holding one in his hand, and there are two grenade models present on screen at the same time. If you can make it come out of his dick, why not his hand? Or why not time it so there's only the one grenade that he's "throwing"? I just think it's funny.

Imagine if you were Hanzo, and whenever you shot your arrow would veer off to the left but the real arrow went straight. That would be wonky wouldn’t it but to you it’s just an animation, who cares.

Like imagine the Bobblehead effect that Zaria and Marcy have except their head Hitbox stayed in the same spot and didn’t actually wobble back-and-forth. What you see in the game should correlate to what’s actually happening.

Cass' ult has never been able to lock onto Junkrat's Tire. What Flats is most likely thinking of is Soldier's ult. which didn't used to be able to lock onto it but now it can. Edit: As someone else pointed out, in the Junkenstein Halloween mode you CAN target the Tires with Cass' ult in there. Also the Pharah crouch thing was an experimental thing that never made it live.

yeah, that used to be one of the best counterplays to a soldier ult, throw the tire at him becuase he can't do anything about it.

the only thing I miss about old cass is his flashbang headshot combo against tracer. That always felt good.

Actually the bastion tipn't still holds up, his current turret form and artillery form have a transformation delay, so if they get stun by like Roadhog's Hook or Sigma's Accretion, the transformation animation gets cut short, and you end up helping the bastion.

Removing flashbang may be better for the overall game but it was pretty much the only way to deal with certain character's bullshit, and now they have free reign.

Hell naw, stun just counters everything. There's no counter play to being stunned. At least if I'm mag grenaded I can out damage them or use a cleanse ability.

The heroes being ordered by offense defense tank and support is even more hilarious than half of these other things honestly

emp used to be instant so the timing was extremely precise about reacting to the trans locator, it was a thing, but one tick too early or late and she gets it off

3:50 I think it's more of a "you can't counter EMP on reaction to her using it", you could do it iirc but you had to preshot, like you could flash bang in react to uncloak, but like if she transductor into emp or if she uncloaked early and manage to sneak up on you without anyone noticing (like if there's a top over your team or walls etc, like horizon 1st point for exemple) you couldn't really prevent her from emp (unless you got super lucky and stunned her while she was ulting because you wanted to flash someone else lmao)

@@insmatthew I mean not really, flash could be used in creative ways and getting kills with it wasn't as consistent as mag nade. Magnetic Grenade is even more braindead and unfun to play against than Flash. I don't think Flashbang is the answer either but I prefer it.

@@heyyou9903 Would be interesting. If the target that is lasso’d has lower hp than him, he can pull them about. If they have the same, it’s an equal tug of war. If they have more they’d be able to pull him about instead.

The thing about Cass is that all he really has is a Gun and a Grenade. So most of his power comes from aim and using your grenade right. I still think the Health and Grenade nerfs were unnecessary because his mobility is so low.

@@mrap4249 I disagree. Theres a lot of burst sustain the game right now. Most of the time if you stick someone (if the grenade doesn’t just miss) it gets negated through healing alone, not to mention healing abilities. It’s a very hit or miss ability that either works or it doesn’t. Again since Cass has little mobility I think the 225 hp pool is fine. Like Reaper he needs it to stay in a fight a longer because his kit is very limited.

idgaf what anybody says, Flashbang should've stayed. Magnetic Grenade is both easier to land, and does way more. I'd get rid of Fan, so you can't Flash+Fan anymore, but flash was 99% of his kit. Not to mention that CC was literally the ONLY way to deal with certain heroes ie Sombra
